According to reports, a popular Black Ops feature is set to return in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Players in Modern Warfare 3 can perform a dolphin dive, a tactical maneuver that allows for quick movements towards the ground, but it has disadvantages such as loud noises and the inability to use weapons during the animation.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will offer a blend of old and new elements, including remastered maps and weapons from MW2, an open campaign, and new gameplay features such as evolving loadouts and after-market parts.

Activision has responded to player feedback by incorporating desired gameplay features from Black Ops 4, such as a larger health pool and animations for reloading and canceling slides.

An interesting gameplay feature commonly used by Black Ops players, known as the "dolphin dive," could potentially make a return in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, according to a recent leak. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 aims to blend the old with the new, allegedly featuring numerous remastered maps and weapons from MW2, while also introducing a more open-ended campaign and brand-new gameplay elements like evolving loadouts and after-market parts. All of these options will allow for greater customization of gameplay and provide an even more immersive player experience.

It seems that Activision has listened to player feedback, as they are giving many reasons for older fans of the franchise to look forward to the latest installment in the popular first-person shooter series. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will feature several highly requested gameplay features that were present in Black Ops 4 but were not included in Modern Warfare 2, such as the return of a larger health pool. Additionally, the controversial animations for reloading and canceling slides, typically employed by more skilled Call of Duty players, will be making a comeback in MW3.

According to FaZe Jev, an American esports player and occasional information leaker, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 players will be able to perform the dolphin dive. For those who are not familiar, the dolphin dive is a tactical maneuver that is typically executed by sprinting and pressing the prone button. Apart from looking amusing, this ability allows players to quickly move towards the ground, evading enemy gunfire and random grenades. Unfortunately, the dolphin dive also has some drawbacks, as players generate loud noise when performing the dives, which can be risky when trying to move stealthily on the battlefield. Weapons also cannot be used during the animation or recovery time.

When it comes to leaks, several unofficial sources on Twitter have recently reported that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will feature some iconic weapons, such as the high-damage UMP 45 SMG and the semi-automatic sniper rifle Remington, which were already present in the original Modern Warfare 3 from 2011. If the leaks are to be believed, nostalgic Call of Duty players will have the opportunity to use their favorite weapons in the latest installment of the series.

Activision is currently running a promotional campaign in collaboration with Monster Energy for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. By participating in the promotion, CoD enthusiasts can receive unique in-game bonuses to enjoy once the game is finally released.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be released on November 10th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
