Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is the next installment in FromSoftware's sci-fi mech combat series, deviating from the studio's dark fantasy Souls-like games. Voices are not typically a major focus in a FromSoftware title, as your protagonist remains silent and endures a considerable amount of boss defeats. However, this game takes a new approach with story missions that fully harness the potential of voice acting talent, without any intended wordplay.

Throughout the missions, you will encounter characters who accompany you during your objectives and meet new allied ACs along the way. The voice actors behind these characters have already voiced unforgettable characters in other games that you are surely familiar with.

10 Narrator - Ray Chase

In Armored Core 6, immediately after your first boss battle against the HC Helicopter, you will be confronted with an interlude that provides a brief narrative about Rubicon's role in history and the material known as Coral. Lending his incredibly talented and experienced voice to this narration is Ray Chase, a highly accomplished voice actor with an extensive list of achievements.

Rhys Strongfork, the CEO of Atlas in Borderlands 3 and New Tales from the Borderlands, the voice of the male Barbarian class in Diablo 4, Noctis in Final Fantasy 15, Guile in Street Fighter 6, Nick Fury in Midnight Suns, and Sire Denathrius in World of Warcraft are just a minuscule selection of the characters in his impressive resume.

9 ALLMIND - Stephanie Kerbis

ALLMIND is the collective suit AI for the mercenary ACs and one of the potential final bosses in Armored Core 6, which also provides you with information about your opponent before an arena battle. This AI is voiced by the actress Stephane Kerbis.

This actress has appeared in many short films, and some of her notable characters in video games include Inga Rune-Eyes from MTG Arena, Gia from Fortnite, and the voices of female Infected in Back 4 Blood, such as the Stinger. Additional appearances include Tower of Fantasy and Naraka: Bladepoint, and Kerbis also lends her voice to Capricorn, Libra, and Scorpio in the animated show Your Daily Horoscope on Quibi.

8 Cinder Carla - Shara Kirby

Cinder Carla stands among the more distinctive mech designs in Armored Core 6, sporting vibrant orange and blue colors, and fortunately, she will be your potential ally in combat during the main story missions. Her voice is portrayed by the actress Shara Kirby.

Although she is not yet an experienced voice actress in games, Shara has already taken on some incredible roles. These include Catt Delgado in Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, Candace in Genshin Impact, and Soridormi in the Dragonflight expansion of World of Warcraft from 2022.

7 Ayre - Erin Yvette

Alex from Oxenfree also appears in Armored Core 6 in the role of Ayre. Erin Yvette, an experienced former employee of Telltale Games and Night School Studio, is the voice behind your friendly companion who, depending on your choices, can become an enemy towards the end of the game.

Other characters from Telltale Games and Night School Studio that you may have heard Yvette's voice in include Snow White in The Wolf Among Us, Sasha in Tales from the Borderlands, Vicki Vale in Batman, Molly and Bonnie in The Walking Dead, as well as Sister Mary Wormhorn in Afterparty. She also portrays the supporting character Alice in Street Fighter 6.

6 Handler Walter - Patrick Seitz

The caretaker of your character in the game, who plays a crucial role in maintaining constant communication regarding your objectives, is voiced by none other than the voice actor of Scorpion, Patrick Seitz. His debut as the voice of the legendary character Scorpion was in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe in 2008, and he returned in MK 2011, Injustice: Gods Among Us, MK X, and the animated MK Legends films.

In addition to Mortal Kombat, Patrick Seitz has portrayed numerous well-known characters in video games and anime. These include Yamato Totsuka from Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Abobo from the River City Girls series, and Artanis from Blizzard's StarCraft series.

5 G1 Michigan - D.C. Douglas

As if the cast wasn't already legendary enough, you have the voice of Resident Evil's Albert Wesker in various games and Rayvis from Star Wars Jedi: Survivor as Mech Mercenary G1 Michigan. D.C. Douglas will be someone you can go up against in the arena or main missions, and he already has experience with games involving AI.

Douglas is, of course, the voice of Pod 042 and Grimoire Noir in the NieR games, Svarog in Honkai: Star Rail, and Legion in the Mass Effect series. You might also recognize D.C. Douglas as Valimar and Rufus Albarea from the Trails series or as Burton Briggs in Borderlands 3.

4 V.IV Rusty - Chris Hackney

If you belong to Team Rusty in the game Armored Core 6, you are not alone. Collaborating with this ally in the mission "Operation Wallclimber" to defeat a Juggernaut is a highlight of the game. And the actor who portrays this popular mech is Chris Hackney, known for his role as Rauru in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Chris is no stranger when it comes to handling mech suits, as he voices Athrun Zala in the Gundam TV series Mobile Suit Gundam Seed and Seed Destiny for their 2017 remasters. You will also see him in anime roles such as Bug-Eyes in Vinland Saga and Deepa in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.

3 G6 Red - Robbie Daymond

Robbie Daymond, who appears in Critical Role, including the spin-off Candela Obscura, and portrays the robotically enhanced protagonist Chai in Hi-Fi Rush, is also seen in Armored Core 6 as a story character and a mech opponent of the F-rank in the arena, G6 Red.

If you have watched the animated Spider-Man series on Disney XD or played Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, then Robbie Daymond was the voice of Peter Parker/Spider-Man. He was also one of the many voices of the TMNT member Michelangelo and voiced the orange turtle in the game Mutants in Manhattan from 2016.

2 G3 Wu Huahai - Johnny Yong Bosch

You already have Wesker, Scorpion, Chai, Spider-Man, and Alex in Armored Core 6 as different mechs, but which other iconic character could come next? How about the original Black Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and the Green Turbo Ranger in Power Rangers Turbo - Johnny Yong Bosch! He also reprised the role of Adam Park in the Netflix special episode Once & Always from 2023.

In addition to Power Rangers and his role as G3 Wu Huahai in Armored Core 6, Johnny Yong Bosch is also Joshua Bright in the Trails series, Iron Fist in Marvel Heroes and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, as well as Yu Narukami in Persona 5: Royal.

1 Sulla - Nicolas Roye

Lastly, there is the mech boss named Sulla, whom you encounter towards the end of the game's first chapter. One unique feature of this AC is that it wields both a bazooka and an impulse weapon, making it much more challenging to defeat.
