Armored Core 6 Survey Die Walkthrough for the Uninhabited Floating City

In Armored Core 6, the missions are generally quite straightforward. A clear objective marker is displayed on your map, guiding you to your destination. Whether it's about destroying a target or collecting data from a device, you will encounter hostile forces along the way, and sometimes even face tough boss enemies before you can conclude the day.

After reaching Chapter Three and completing the Tunnel Sabotage mission, your next task is to proceed to Xylem. There, you will engage in the mission called Investigate the Uninhabited Floating City.

Mission Overview

Armored Core 6 Survey The Uninhabited Floating City Walkthrough

The mission "Investigate the Uninhabited Floating City" becomes somewhat more challenging.

In contrast to your usual missions, due to the bothersome dense fog that obscures everything, you won't have a convenient marker to guide your way.

Walter mentioned that his buddy attempted to send an investigation drone, but unfortunately lost it due to the interference caused by this fog.

Therefore, before you can delve into the potentially hidden secrets within the coral reef, you must overcome this foggy situation.

Without your reliable marker, your best option is to keep an eye out for the red beacons that can serve as your guiding lights. Your main objective here is to deactivate the ECM fog control devices. Sounds simple and straightforward, right? Well, not so fast!

At the end, you will encounter a boss battle, determined to impede your progress and obstruct your advancement.

Once you initiate the mission, you will be thrown into this foggy area where visibility is practically nonexistent. Your sole orientation will be the scattered red beams that you must follow.

As you progress, you will come across some drones. They pose no significant threat, so there's no need to worry.

Continue following these guiding beams, and they will lead you to your first ECM fog device. Once you reach it, interact with it to deactivate the device.

After deactivating the first ECM device, there is a hidden item in this area that you can collect.

From the first ECM device, proceed towards the second red beam. On its left side, you will discover a building with an enemy opponent nearby.

At the top of this building, you will discover a chest containing the hidden item: IA-C01G - AORTA Generator.

After obtaining the hidden piece, continue to follow the red beams in the same manner as before.

Finally, you will reach the second ECM device. Deactivate it and then proceed to the third one.

This mission revolves around following the path marked by the red beacons until you reach the ECM device. Then, the quest marker will appear, guiding you to the device as you approach it.

Now you must locate the investigation drone that was previously lost in the ECM fog.

The procedure remains the same: follow the red beacons to reach it. Upon arrival, you will find it damaged and situated amidst some buildings.

However, before collecting the data, there is a combat log to obtain nearby.

After collecting the data from the investigation drone, be prepared for an ambush by hostile enemies.

You can take cover behind nearby buildings and evade their attacks, or strategically utilize these structures to launch counterattacks and then return to a safer position. Make the most of your surroundings.

After eliminating these enemies, your mission log will be updated, and you will receive the task to track down the final generator.

Now that you have obtained the data from the investigation drone, you're in luck; it is no longer necessary to follow the red beacons.

Instead, a marker will appear on your map, leading you directly to the location of the final ECM device. Once you reach that location, interact with the device to deactivate it and eliminate the fog in Xylem.

This isn't the end of the mission.

You receive a warning that some PCA units are on their way to you, seeking revenge for what you have done.

If you turn around, you will see a heavily armed helicopter firing a barrage of missiles in your direction. Prepare yourself for this challenging boss battle.

In this encounter, you will not only have to deal with the helicopter; there will also be other PCA enemies that you will have to contend with.

The key to success here lies in cleverly utilizing your surroundings.

The helicopter boss will continuously fire missiles at you, and the other enemies will also be shooting. Fortunately, the environment provides ample cover, so use it to your advantage.

Additionally, you will find some nearby towers that can be activated to assist you in the battle.
