You need to visit the Blood Upgrade Lady in the city with the blessed name to obtain each upgrade for your bile flasks or to increase your maximum health points.

By offering empty vessels, magnificent chalices, and crystal shards, you can enhance your bile flasks and the overall health of the Penitent One. How To Upgrade Bile Flask Limit

If you find empty vessels and bring them back to the Blood Upgrade Lady in the city with the blessed name, you will be rewarded with additional bile flasks, increasing your limit by one flask for each empty vessel found.

You start your journey with two bile flasks and can find four more, allowing you to have a total of six bile flasks. And if that's not enough to sustain you in battle, you can also increase their effectiveness, which we will discuss in the following section!

How To Upgrade Bile Flask Potency

In addition to increasing the number of bile flasks you can carry, you can also enhance their overall effectiveness by finding silver-coated crystal shards and bringing them back to the Blood Upgrade Lady in the city with the blessed name.

In Blasphemous 2, there are only three silver-coated crystal shards to be found. Each of these shards grants a significant boost to the effectiveness of your bile flasks, allowing you to restore more health with a single sip than before. This enables you to conserve more flasks during combat!

How To Upgrade Maximum HP

Lastly, we have magnificent chalices, your main method to increase your total health points. There are five magnificent chalices that you can find and bring back to the Blood Upgrade Lady in the city with the blessed name. Each chalice grants you an additional +30 health points.

When you start your adventure, you only have 150 health points, but they can be doubled if you find all five magnificent chalices. This will increase your total health points to 300.

However, this can still be expanded by offering your blood sacrifice multiple times to the grand chalice in the Blood Upgrade Room. This ultimately rewards you with an additional +30 health points, allowing you to reach a total of 330 health points!
