The annual Psychic Spectacular Event of Pokémon GO is returning to Niantic's timeless mobile game this week. What sets this event apart is the increased encounter rate of various Psychic-type Pokémon such as Abra, Drowzee, Ralts, Spoink, and others. This presents players with the opportunity to capture a variety of Psychic-type Pokémon and collect candies to evolve most of them. Additionally, similar to other events, there will be research tasks, collection challenges, and other fantastic time-limited bonuses.

The featured Pokémon for this event is the Psychic-type Pokémon, Solosis. The 'Cell' Pokémon will not only appear more frequently in the wild and hatch from 7 km eggs but it will also serve as the reward for each individual time-based research task during the Pokémon GO Psychic Spectacular 2023. But that's not all.

Can Solosis be Shiny in Pokemon GO?

Yes! Thanks to the Psychic Spectacular Event in Pokémon GO, Solosis can appear in its shiny form. Players have a greater chance of hatching a shiny Solosis from eggs. Additionally, Solosis' two evolutions, Duosion and Reuniclus, also have shiny variants.

How to Evolve Solosis in Pokemon GO

In the main games of the Pokémon series, Solosis evolves into Duosion once it reaches level 32. Then, Duosion evolves into Reuniclus once it reaches level 41. However, Pokémon GO does not have "levels" like the other games, so players need to collect Solosis candies to evolve it.

Pokémon GO players need to collect 25 Solosis candies to evolve Solosis into Duosion. Then, they require an additional 100 candies to obtain Reuniclus.

As Solosis will be appearing more frequently in the wild until the end of the event on September 24th, there are plenty of opportunities to obtain candies for it. By catching all the Solosis for the rewards of time-based research tasks, transferring duplicates, and using Psychic-type Pokémon as companions, players can quickly accumulate large quantities of candies.

Best Moves for Reuniclus

For those who may want to try Reuniclus in PvP battles, the best moves for it are Zen Headbutt and Future Sight. The Solosis line is vulnerable to Bug, Dark, and Ghost-type moves, so you should exercise caution when bringing these Pokémon onto the battlefield.
