While Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty introduces several new characters to the game, it also brings back some familiar faces. One such character is Muamar "El Capitan" Reyes, whom some players may recognize. In the base game, he offers gigs in the Santo Domingo region.
Mr. Hands takes care of the gigs in Dogtown, but El Capitan still has tasks for you. One of these tasks involves locating and stealing high-value cars. The initial mission of this car collection series is called "Push It To The Limit," which serves as an introductory quest to this activity. Here are the steps to complete it.
How To Start The Quest
"Push It To The Limit" is an exceptional quest in that it doesn't have a single designated starting point. Instead, there are multiple locations on the map where you can initiate this task.
Simply keep an eye out for the blue steering wheel icons on the Dogtown map. When you approach one of these icons, you will come across a luxurious car. Your objective is to steal it.
The steering wheel icon will only appear when you are in close proximity to it.
Usually, there will be an enemy guarding the car from the outside. In such cases, you can choose to either eliminate the enemy or simply take the car and make your escape. Regardless of your choice, you will receive a call from Muamar "El Capitan" Reyes shortly after.
Meet El Capitan
He will request that you bring him the car you recently stole to the coordinates he provides.
You may notice that the given coordinates are located outside of Dogtown. Therefore, you need to leave through the main gate and make your way to El Capitan's garage.
On your way, you will encounter several pursuers who will try to chase you down. You must evade and lose them before you reach the garage.
You can achieve this by evading them, but it is easier to eliminate the pursuers using the vehicle combat mechanics. Aim for the individuals in the vehicles, as taking them out is quicker than destroying the cars themselves.
Once you arrive at Reyes' location, drive your car into the garage. Next, engage in a conversation with Reyes and enter the car when prompted. Conclude the conversation with him and agree to steal cars for him. When the discussion comes to an end, the quest will also conclude.
