In Night City, there are many despicable people. The place brings out the worst in people and attracts some of the biggest assholes on the planet. Fortunately, many of them can be killed during the main story of Cyberpunk 2077. And with the new update, another terrible excuse for a human being can finally join their ranks.
Fingers - the Ripperdoc involved in Evelyn Parker's fate - has often been reluctantly kept alive by players of Cyberpunk 2077 due to his impressive stock of cyberware. But now, with the Version 2.0 update out and all Ripperdocs having the same stock of cyberware, he has become completely useless. To celebrate, fans are sharing the creative ways they have taken him out because, man, he really deserves it.
If you need a summary, Fingers is the Ripperdoc you have to interrogate as part of Judy's questline because he knows where Evelyn is. It quickly becomes apparent that despite his profession, he did very little to help Evelyn and subjected her to further abuse once he realized he had no use for her. This, along with other terrible mistreatments Evelyn endured after the failed Arasaka heist, ultimately led to her death.
Fingers' crimes don't stop there. It is also mentioned that he harasses the sex workers who come to him for cyberware implants, knowing that they have nowhere else to turn. That alone is reason enough to give him a beating as soon as you enter his office.
What kept him alive in many playthroughs was the fact that he was the only doctor selling the unique, legendary level "Qiant 'Warm Dancer' Sandevistan Mk.5" cyberware. If you riddle him with bullets, he won't come back, and it would be lost forever. Damn thing, even if you beat him during his interrogation, he refuses to serve you and locks you out of his inventory.
But now, with the Version 2.0 update live, the cyberware system has been revamped, and he no longer holds exclusive rights to that loot. Relieved that they can finally put an end to his reign of terror on Jig Jig Street, players are sharing clips of how they killed him.
Now you can get the goods elsewhere too. That's also good news for those of us who couldn't resist attacking him after he admitted what he did to Evelyn and had no idea that we were cutting off access to one of the best pieces of cyberware in the game. Now we won't be punished for making the right decision and saving Night City from one of the villains who prey on the weak.
