Final Fantasy 16 All Weapons and How to Obtain Them

In Final Fantasy 16, there are many beautiful and powerful weapons, and you will naturally obtain most of the swords by crafting them at The Black Hammer. However, the strongest blades require rare materials that you can easily overlook if you don't complete side quests.

In particular, the side quests "Blacksmith's Blues" and the various "Notorious Marks" on the hunt board will provide you with the means to strengthen your arsenal. Before switching to a weapon that appears to be stronger, check if you are able to enhance your current weapon, as swords and equipment can usually be enhanced up to two times, further improving their stats.

All Weapons And How To Get Them

Weapons are obtained through main quests, side quests, Charon's Toll, The Black Hammer, and chests, and the only weapon you cannot obtain in your first playthrough is the Ultima Weapon.

Braveheart is a special weapon that is only available as a pre-order bonus. The Blood Sword is a similar weapon that is exclusive to the Collector's Edition. Starting from Patch 1.0, you can obtain the Onion Sword from the system menu after completing the main quest "A Chance Encounter."
