Fortnite features hundreds of skins that rotate daily in the item shop. For a long time, leaks suggested that Fortnite players would be able to acquire highly customizable spray skins. This not only sounded like a fun way for players to create their own unique skins but also gave a purpose to the cosmetic sprays in the game and motivated fans to collect them.
After months of anticipation, the highly anticipated Fortnite skins were finally released on August 27, 2023. This guide shows players how they can acquire the Caper and Alias skins, also known as Fortnite spray skins, and how to unlock and apply all customization options.
How to Get the Spray Skins
Players can acquire Caper and Alias when the "Last Resort" tab rotates in the Fortnite item shop. Like all other skins in the item shop, they will be available on occasion, and players can purchase them using V-Bucks.
The Alias and Caper skins each cost 1,200 V-Bucks. Players who want to obtain both skins can purchase the "Escape Artists Bundle" which includes both skins for the price of only 1,800 V-Bucks.
How the Spray Skins Work
The spray skins are highly customizable, allowing players to choose their appearance, helmet type, suit color, and accessory color. Additionally, they can apply any possessed sprays all over the character's body, including the following areas:
- Face
- Back of the head
- Torso
- Upper and lower back
- Upper and lower arm
- Upper and lower back left leg
- Upper and lower front left leg
- Upper and lower back right leg
- Upper and lower front right left
Additionally, fans can also edit the saturation, wear, and scaling of the sprays.
Caper and Alias Quests
When players first obtain the spray skins, they receive a quest pack that allows them to unlock more helmet strap options for Caper and Alias. Although each skin has its own quests, they are exactly the same.
Here are the quests that players must complete to unlock the remaining customization options for Caper and Alias.
- Stage 1 - Spend gold bars (250)
- Stage 2 - Spend gold bars (500)
- Stage 3 - Spend gold bars (750)
- Stage 4 - Spend gold bars (1,000)
