Furina, the hydro user and goddess of wisdom, will play a significant role in the Fontaine storyline of Genshin Impact, generating tremendous excitement among the fans.
According to the leaks, Furina's gameplay abilities will be based on a stacking system connected to her health points (HP). Restoring her HP will enhance her healing effects, while a decrease in HP will improve her elemental damage abilities.
Furina's elemental skill involves summoning a small creature that provides various effects depending on the type of attacks the active character employs. Her elemental burst, on the other hand, grants a damage bonus and applies hydro infusion.
A new leak about Genshin Impact has revealed further information about one of the upcoming characters: Furina, the hydro user, also known as the goddess of wisdom. This character has already made multiple appearances in the ongoing Fontaine storyline, where she is introduced as a confident and theatrical personality.
Furina is one of the seven Archons in Genshin Impact and the primary protector of the Hydro nation. The goddess of wisdom is highly likely to take center stage throughout the majority of the main storyline in Fontaine, similar to all previous Archons, and there is a great deal of excitement surrounding her upcoming release.
A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed further details about the complete kit of Furina, the Hydro Archon. According to the leak, Furina's kit will be based on a stacking system connected to her health points (HP), which makes sense given her status as a Hydro user. Restoring her HP will enhance her healing effects, while a decrease in HP will improve her elemental damage abilities. Furina's elemental skill will involve summoning a small creature, which appears to be the main source of her damage outside of the battlefield. This creature will provide different effects depending on the type of attacks the active character employs.
However, unlike other similar abilities, this skill usually relies on types of elemental damage, but this time it depends on the normal, charged, and plunging attacks of the characters. According to the post, Furina's elemental burst grants a damage bonus and applies hydro infusion. The leak also mentions that the Hydro Archon will have the ability to deduct HP from her entire team, but she will also lose health while on the field, and this interaction will be connected to her damage multipliers.
Many fans appear to be intrigued by how this mechanism will work, as it is uncommon for Genshin Impact characters to negatively affect the HP of their team members. However, it should be noted that these leaks should be approached with caution as their official release is likely still months away.
As for the exact release date of Furina, HoYoverse confirmed that she will not be part of the upcoming Genshin Impact update 4.1, which will introduce two new catalyst users, Neuvillette and Wriothesley. According to previous rumors, players can expect Furina to join the playable roster starting from version 4.2, which should be released in early November according to the game's usual update schedule.
Genshin Impact is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A version for the Switch is currently in development.
