According to a new leak, Genshin Impact's 4.3 update will introduce two new characters, Navia and Chevreuse, to the game's playable roster.
Fontaine, the latest region in the game, has already introduced several new characters, and there will be more to come in future updates.
Navia's debut as a Geo Claymore character will be the first introduction of a new Geo element character in almost two years, which is generating great anticipation among players.
The latest leaks from Genshin Impact have given players a glimpse of two brand-new characters, Navia and Chevreuse, expected to be added to the game with the Version 4.3 update. The debut of the newest region, Fontaine, in the HoYoverse RPG, has introduced fans to a variety of new characters. Players have already been able to meet the siblings from the "House of Herding," with Lyney and Lynette available during the first half of Version 4.0, and Freminet available during the second half. Now, even more upcoming members of the game's roster are being teased.
Although only three characters from the original cast of Fontaine are currently playable, the story of Genshin Impact has already teased many more. Version 4.1 will introduce Fontaine's Supreme Judge Neuvillette and the Administrator of Meropis Fortress, Wriothesley, as playable characters in the Hydro and Cryo Catalyst styles respectively. The story will also introduce several upcoming characters, including Navia, Charlotte, and Clorinde, among others. Now, the featured characters of Version 4.3 are already being teased in several patches ahead.
A new leak shared by the well-known Genshin Impact leaker Tao through co-leaker StepLeaker revealed the elements and weapons for a pair of new characters coming in Version 4.3. Version 4.3 will introduce Navia as the prominent five-star character of the update, coming into the game as a Geo Claymore character. Navia will be accompanied by the previously teased character Chevreuse, who will make their debut as a Pyro Polearm character in Genshin Impact. The Version 4.3 update is expected to be released at the end of December.
Navia's introduction to the playable roster will mark a significant return for Genshin Impact, eagerly anticipated by many players. Navia is expected to make her debut as the first new Geo element character to be added to the game in almost two years. The last Geo character added to Genshin Impact was Yun Jin in January 2022, and the last five-star member with the Geo element came a month prior with the introduction of Arataki Itto in Version 2.3. Notably, throughout the Sumeru region cycle, no new Geo character was released for Genshin Impact.
Navia's release follows a multitude of highly anticipated debuts expected for the roster of Genshin Impact in upcoming updates. In addition to the aforementioned characters Neuvillette and Wriothesley in Version 4.1, it is expected that Furina, the Hydro Archon of Fontaine, will make her debut with the launch of Version 4.2, along with the four-star character Charlotte. In recent leaks, new characters have also been teased for past regions, including the long-awaited arrival of the Cloud Retainer of Liyue. The playable roster of Genshin Impact is expected to be significantly strengthened during the Fontaine region, with many new and unique characters on the way.
Genshin Impact is currently available for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A version for the Nintendo Switch is under development.
