Genshin Impact leak hints at new Local Legends enemies for Version 4.1

A new leak from Genshin Impact hints at a series of new "Local Legends" enemies that are set to be added to the Fontaine region and are expected to appear in Version 4.1. The introduction of the latest region in the HoYoverse RPG not only brought new characters and explorable areas to the game but also a variety of unique enemies. Fontaine will offer a range of new creatures that will challenge players, including two world bosses, several new overworld enemies, and foes that exclusively appear in the underwater areas of the region. Among the new enemies, the powerful "Local Legends" foes will also be present.

Fontaine's Local Legends have been introduced as a group of powerful enemies scattered throughout the overworld of Genshin Impact's Fontaine region. Serving as stronger versions of many new creatures in Fontaine, the Local Legends present formidable health pools and strong attacks to challenge even the most experienced Genshin Impact players. Players will also be rewarded with achievements for defeating creatures like Ninianne of the Lake and the Iron Viscount, among others. Now, with the expansion of Fontaine in Version 4.1, even more Local Legends are set to make their debut.

A new leak that was posted on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed the names of five new Local Legends enemies that are supposed to come in the next update of Genshin Impact. Although most of them don't include any images, enemies like "Lucola the Radiant," "Isolt," and "Automated Supercomputing Field Generator" are reportedly planned for the Version 4.1 update. The update also confirms that the previously teased Frost Seneschal will be introduced as a Local Legend, as well as the "Angelic Sea Hare" most likely being an underwater boss.

The introduction of the latest Local Legends in Genshin Impact is happening while Version 4.1 already contains teasers for their new enemies. Previous leaks have showcased several enemies planned for the next update of Genshin Impact, including both the previously mentioned Frost Seneschal and the Wind Seneschal. Rumor has it that the update will also add a new world boss to the game, which will be the third boss in the Fontaine region. The Version 4.1 update of Genshin Impact is expected to be released on September 27th.

New enemies will not be the only new content coming with Version 4.1 in Genshin Impact, as the game has several characters and events planned for release. The next update of Genshin Impact will see the debut of two five-star units, Neuvillette and Wriothesley, joining the ensemble of playable characters. It is expected that the update will also introduce the Fortress of Meropis in Fontaine as a new area, along with a newly explorable underground area near the Opera Epitome. Genshin Impact's Version 4.1 has a lot in store for fans with new characters, new enemies, and much more.

Genshin Impact is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A version for the Nintendo Switch is currently in development.
