Genshin Impact leak reveals new adversary for Version 4.2

After months of anticipation, the five-star Hydro Archon, Furina, will finally arrive in the Fontaine region later this year. Cyno, Baizhu, and Kamisato Ayato will also be added to the banner rotation for a limited time. As each Genshin Impact update typically lasts for at least 42 days, players can expect the release of Version 4.2 in early November.

A Genshin Impact leak from Videre Ark has revealed a concept artwork for a mysterious adversary named Ptakhur, who will be introduced to the game later this year with Version 4.2. It appears to be not a weekly boss, but rather an elite enemy that can be encountered more easily in the wilderness. The leaked concept depicts Ptakhur being twice the size of playable characters, and its body type and armor design resemble that of a Black Serpent Knight. With some speculation suggesting that it could be the Abyssal version of Childe from Genshin Impact, other players in the Reddit thread expressed their awe at Ptakhur's eerie appearance.

Ptakhur is either someone from the Abyss Order or simply a common enemy that players will encounter in the Fontaine region. It is unlikely that this creature is one of the weekly bosses, as they typically exhibit superhuman proportions and embellishments. Genshin Impact players will have to wait until the release of Version 4.2 to learn more about Ptakhur.
