Genshin Impact leak reveals new adversary for Version 4.2

In the upcoming Genshin Impact Version 4.2, a new adversary named Ptakhur will be introduced, bearing resemblance to creatures from the Spiral Abyss.

According to the leaked information, the Childe's whale could potentially be the next weekly boss, although leaks are not always reliable.

Version 4.2 will bring forth new content, including playable characters, weekly bosses, events, and weapons. The release is expected to take place in early November.

A recent leakage in Genshin Impact has unveiled that Version 4.2 will introduce players to a brand-new adversary named Ptakhur, whose design bears resemblance to creatures from the Spiral Abyss. Since the release of Genshin Impact Version 4.0, there has been an increase in leaks and speculations regarding upcoming foes, including one instance suggesting that Childe's mysterious whale will be the next weekly boss. While some of these leaks may appear credible, they can occasionally prove to be false.

According to the leaks circulating on the internet, Genshin Impact Version 4.2 will offer a plethora of new content, including a playable character, weekly bosses, events, and weapons. After months of anticipation, the five-star Hydro Archon, Furina, will finally arrive in the Fontaine region later this year. Cyno, Baizhu, and Kamisato Ayato will also be added to the banner rotation for a limited time. As each Genshin Impact update typically lasts for at least 42 days, players can expect the release of Version 4.2 in early November.

A Genshin Impact leak from Videre Ark has revealed a concept artwork for a mysterious adversary named Ptakhur, who will be introduced to the game later this year with Version 4.2. It appears to be not a weekly boss, but rather an elite enemy that can be encountered more easily in the wilderness. The leaked concept depicts Ptakhur being twice the size of playable characters, and its body type and armor design resemble that of a Black Serpent Knight. With some speculation suggesting that it could be the Abyssal version of Childe from Genshin Impact, other players in the Reddit thread expressed their awe at Ptakhur's eerie appearance.

Genshin Impact Leak Shows New Enemy for Version 4.2

Ptakhur is either someone from the Abyss Order or simply a common enemy that players will encounter in the Fontaine region. It is unlikely that this creature is one of the weekly bosses, as they typically exhibit superhuman proportions and embellishments. Genshin Impact players will have to wait until the release of Version 4.2 to learn more about Ptakhur.

In Genshin Impact, Teyvat is home to a variety of adversaries that players can engage with to test their progress. These menacing creatures, ranging from Heralds and Dvalins to towering blooms, have the ability to swiftly eliminate players with a barrage of attacks. They are divided into four categories based on their rarity and strength. Common and elite enemies are much easier to defeat compared to weekly and world bosses. Among the most troublesome foes in Genshin Impact are the Fatui skirmishers, Golden Wolf Lord, and the Eternal Mechanical Array.

Genshin Impact is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A version for the Switch is also currently in development.
