Genshin Impact leak reveals new world boss for Version 4.1

A recent leak from Genshin Impact suggests the addition of a new world boss during the Version 4.1 update. The debut of the Fontaine region introduced numerous new enemies into the world of the HoYoverse RPG, including the robotic constructs known as Meka and a variety of marine creatures for players to contend against. The bosses have been a special highlight of the latest update, as not only did two new world bosses join the game, but several "Local Legends" minibosses were also scattered across the Hydro region. Now, the upcoming update of the RPG will introduce another menacing boss to Fontaine.

The Version 4.0 update of Genshin Impact would bring the introduction of two new world bosses in Fontaine. The boss "The Emperor of Fire and Iron" presents players with the task of weakening the Pyro shield of the colossal crab boss, interrupting its actions, and attacking the unprotected boss with massive damage. The "Frostwind Suite" utilizes Genshin Impact's new Pneuma and Ousia mechanics, featuring different forms for each side of the battle. The latest boss in Genshin Impact is said to focus on elemental reactions and quick thinking.

A new leak from prominent HoYoverse leaker HomDGCat has revealed further details about the Millennial Pearl Seahorse boss that will appear in Version 4.1 of Genshin Impact. Reportedly, the main mechanic for the seahorse boss will revolve around its "Millennial Pearl," which can increase resistance and be destroyed through elemental reactions. Once the electrical value of the pearl has sufficiently decreased, the boss will drop three "Hearts of the Storm" that players can destroy to break through the boss's resistances. Leaks have also indicated that the Millennial Pearl Seahorse will appear in the Spiral Abyss lineup for Version 4.1.

The latest world boss in Genshin Impact is part of a series of enemies that are slated to be added in the game's upcoming update. Previous leaks have hinted at a variety of enemies making their way into the game, including the Wind Seneschal and the Frost Seneschal. It is also rumored that Genshin Impact will introduce more of the aforementioned "Local Legends" minibosses with Version 4.1, with five new minibosses expected. The Version 4.1 update for Genshin Impact is expected to be released on September 27th.

Alongside new characters and enemies, the Version 4.1 update of Genshin Impact will bring a series of new events to the RPG. Leaks have hinted at both a Poetry Festival in the game's first region, Mondstadt, as well as a "Fish Blast" event featuring the five-star character Klee during Version 4.1. The next update of Genshin Impact is expected to introduce a login rewards campaign to celebrate the game's third anniversary, with up to 10 Intertwined Fates being awarded. The debut of the latest boss in Genshin Impact will provide another unique challenge in the game's newest region.
