Genshin Impact leak teases new enemies for Version 4.1

The upcoming version 4.1 of Genshin Impact will introduce five new adversaries, including humanoid foes and monstrous creatures, thereby expanding the game's array of enemies.

The update will also bring forth the "Fortress of Meropis," a prison located in the Fontaine region, two new characters, and potential alterations to the daily quest system.

In-game renderings of the new enemies have been unveiled through leaks, showcasing the Wind Seneschal, Frost Seneschal, and two Meka adversaries, with one of them potentially serving as a world boss. Version 4.1 is expected to be released on September 27th.

A new leak from Genshin Impact offers a glimpse of five new enemies that are set to be added to the game with Version 4.1. These enemies encompass both humanoid and monstrous variations. The introduction of the Fontaine region in Genshin Impact has already brought forth a multitude of adversaries into the game world, including several completely new types of opponents. The explorable area of Fontaine comprises not only various "Meka" adversaries but also a plethora of aquatic life to be challenged in the underwater sections of the region. Now, HoYoverse is preparing to introduce even more new enemies into the game.

While HoYoverse has not yet disclosed many official details about Version 4.1, leaks already suggest that Genshin Impact will undergo another significant expansion with the upcoming update. Version 4.1 is expected to introduce the "Fortress of Meropis" in Fontaine, a large prison where many of the most dangerous criminals in the Hydro region are incarcerated. The update will also introduce two new characters named Neuvillette and Wriothesley, as well as rumored changes to the game's daily quest system. The next update of Genshin Impact will also bring five new adversaries into the role-playing game when it is released next month.

A series of leaks shared on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit showcases the in-game renderings of the five enemies coming to Genshin Impact in Version 4.1. Through the leak, players are given a better glimpse of the previously teased Wind Seneschal and Frost Seneschal, two well-dressed adversaries wielding a staff and a rapier respectively. Two new Meka adversaries are presented with a large mechanical contraption and a smaller device, with the former likely serving as a world boss. The post also reveals a new dragon-like enemy, presumably possessing the Electro element and encountered in the underwater areas of Fontaine.

Genshin Impact Leak Teases New Enemies for Version 4.1

While the new area and characters of Genshin Impact are expected to be the highlights of Version 4.1, the RPG is also likely to offer many events for players. Previous leaks have teased a login bonus in celebration of Genshin Impact's third anniversary, allegedly granting players up to 10 intertwined fates for the limited-time banner. Reports suggest that the events during the Version 4.1 update of Genshin Impact will also take players back to Mondstadt, featuring a "Poetry Festival" and a "Fish Blasting" event centered around Mondstadt's Crimson Knight, Klee.

The abundance of new content planned for Version 4.1 of Genshin Impact follows a packed release for the Fontaine region. The Hydro Archon's domain was introduced with three new characters: Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet, with Lynette being available as a free reward for players who reach AR25. The new region also offered several events during its debut patch, including tasks focused on exploring Fontaine and rewarding players with Primogems. A new area in Version 4.1 and new adversaries to conquer will give players even more reasons to return to Genshin Impact time and again.

Genshin Impact is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A version for Nintendo Switch is currently in development.
