Genshin Impact leaks reveal details about Lynette's elemental skill and burst

Unofficial Genshin Impact news has revealed cool new details about the elemental skill and burst of an upcoming character named Lynette. This character has been officially announced by the game's social media accounts, which means players can expect her arrival in Update 4.0.

This update of Genshin Impact will finally introduce the long-awaited nation of Fontaine, which has been the subject of rumors in recent months. According to their latest promotional videos, version 4.0 will focus on two new characters, Lynette and her brother Lyney.

A new official video called "Overture Teaser: The Final Feast" has revealed several different characters joining the playable roster, including Lynette. This four-star unit was one of the first characters seen in the promotional video, and she will be working alongside her brother, Lyney. Described as a "Multi-Function Magic Assistant," Lynette is an Anemo user, distinguishing her from her brother Lyney, who wields the Pyro vision. A credible leaker named merlin_impact has provided further information about Lynette's entire kit, including her elemental skill, burst, and talents. According to the leak, Lynette's elemental skill is called "Enigmatic Feint" and has a press and hold variation. Pressing this skill will make Lynette perform an attack called "Enigma Thrust," dealing Anemo damage and restoring a portion of her HP.

When holding this skill, this Anemo user enters a state called "Pilfering Shadow," which applies Shadowswing to a nearby enemy. Upon exiting this state, Lynette will unleash an attack called "Enigma Thrust." If an enemy is affected by the Shadowswing effect, she will dash towards them before using Enigma Thrust. Many fans hope that Lynette, due to her deep connection in the story, has great synergy with her brother Lyney.

Lynette's elemental burst raises her mantle, causing AoE Anemo damage and summoning a huge Bogglecat box that has various effects. This box taunts nearby enemies and deals additional Anemo damage. When this box comes into contact with Hydro, Cryo, Electro, or Pyro, it inflicts more elemental damage by firing vibrant shots. However, it should be noted that the Bogglecat box can only be charged with one element per activation.

From the moment she accidentally pricked her finger on the spindle and fell into a deep sleep, to the moment she finally awakened through a true love's kiss, Princess Aurora went through a lot to achieve what she truly desired.

Genshin Impact is available for PC, mobile devices, PS4, and PS5. A version for the Switch is currently in development.
