Genshin Impact unveils new daily commission system

The developer of Genshin Impact has announced that version 4.1 will introduce a revamped daily commission system, where players will collect encounter points and exchange them for rewards. It has also been announced that a new feature called "One-Click Expedition" is currently in development. Daily commissions in Genshin Impact allow players to earn Primogems by completing specific tasks. Each commission grants players 10 Primogems, which can be used to purchase wishes and enhance the Battle Pass.

Genshin Impact Version 4.1 is just around the corner and will feature a new Archon Quest, limited-time festivities, weapons, and character banners such as Neuvillette and Wriothesley. The upcoming update will expand the Fontaine map with new areas and provide players with a minimum of 1600 Primogems to celebrate the game's third anniversary. Additionally, a new world boss named Millennial Pearl Seahorse will be introduced, capable of inflicting Electro damage with its AoE ability and projectiles.

HoYoverse has revealed all the details about Genshin Impact's new daily commission system, stating that players will need to complete tasks, undertake explorations, participate in events, and gather materials to earn encounter points that can be exchanged for rewards. With the release of version 4.1, the scope of daily commissions will be expanded. This revamped system offers players more options to approach daily content and receive free gifts. However, players should note that they need to reach Adventure Rank 15 or complete Archon Quest Chapter 2: Act 3 in order to accept daily commissions. Furthermore, HoYoverse has also unveiled that the "One-Click Expeditions" feature is currently in development to facilitate expeditions in Genshin Impact.

The daily commission system is a fantastic way to tackle fresh content and acquire valuable loot without investing a significant amount of time. However, Genshin Impact players have requested the developers to make some changes to this system, as it has become repetitive and tedious over the past years. Fortunately, their voices have been heard, as HoYoverse will be introducing the feature of "encounter points," providing them with more options for playable content.

It appears that this in-game feature resembles the daily missions in Honkai: Star Rail, allowing players to complete their preferred content. Genshin Impact will also introduce some quality-of-life improvements in version 4.1, including a notification displaying players' current Adventure Rank limit. The level requirement for the "Embattle" mission will be lowered from 20 to 16, meaning that players can obtain special rewards much earlier.

Genshin Impact is available on mobile devices, PCs, PS4, and PS5. A version for the Nintendo Switch is also currently in development.
