In version 4.1 of Genshin Impact, the "Genius Invokation" mode receives new cards based on the characters Dehya, Wanderer, and Yaoyao.
"Genius Invokation" is a collectible card game within Genshin Impact that allows players to create custom decks, compete against friends, and earn rewards.
Each character card in "Genius Invokation" has a normal attack, an elemental skill, and a burst that reflects the gameplay mechanics of their playable versions in the core gameplay of Genshin Impact.
The developer of Genshin Impact has announced that in version 4.1, a series of cards based on Wanderer, Nahida, and Yaoyao will be added to the Genius Invokation mode, which is set to go live later this month. When players need a short break from the action, they can spend time in Genius Invokation, a permanent mode within Genshin Impact that includes some gameplay elements like elemental reactions, PvP matches, skills, and bursts. It is a collectible card game where players can create custom decks and challenge their friends at the table.
The Genius Invokation mode of Genshin Impact has been very popular among fans since its introduction in version 3.3. It has received much praise from players due to its mechanics that align with the core gameplay of Genshin Impact. Over time, numerous cards based on playable units have been added to this addictive card game, providing players with new opportunities to customize their decks. In Genius Invokation, each character card has a normal attack, an elemental skill, and a burst, similar to their playable version. These abilities inflict specific damage and trigger elemental reactions. Once players have destroyed all enemy cards on the table and won the game, they receive Primogems, card packs, and lucky coins.
The developer of Genshin Impact has revealed that with the update to version 4.1 later this month, three new cards will be added to the Genius Invokation mode. They are based on the banner characters Dehya, Wanderer, and Yaoyao, each possessing a unique set of abilities. Dehya's normal attack deals two damage, while her elemental skill summons the Fiery Sanctuary. When this summon is on the table and the character is in standby, the damage taken is reduced by one. Additionally, her elemental burst inflicts three Pyro damage. It appears that this Genius Invokation card is a perfect fit for Dehya's gameplay.
The Wanderer's character card harmonizes with his set of abilities and inflicts seven Anemo damage with his elemental burst. After using his elemental skill, he gains the "Favored by Wind" status. The third available card is based on Yaoyao from Genshin Impact, whose elemental burst deals Dendro damage and generates the combat status "Adeptal Heritage." Her normal attack inflicts two physical damage and costs only one die.
In addition to a collection of Genius Invokation cards, Genshin Impact version 4.1 will introduce two new playable units, Neuvillette and Wriothesley. According to some leaks, both characters will have a rarity of five stars and possess a powerful set of abilities. If everything goes according to plan, the update to version 4.1 is expected to be released on October 27th.
Genshin Impact is currently available for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A version for the Switch is currently in development.
