Genshin Impact has released three new promotional codes that offer players in-game rewards to enhance their playable characters.
The ongoing 4.0 update introduces three new characters, with Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet being added to the roster.
Rumors are circulating that the new playable character, Neuvillette, is one of the most formidable characters in Fontaine, possessing an enhanced charged attack that inflicts area-of-effect Hydro damage.
Genshin Impact has unveiled three new promotional codes that grant various in-game rewards, allowing players to enhance their playable characters. The game consistently updates its playable roster with nearly every new update, and with the recent introduction of a new major region, players can expect a plethora of new content in the upcoming months.
The ongoing Genshin Impact 4.0 has introduced three new characters: Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet. Lyney and Lynette were added in the first part of the update, while the four-star Cryo user, Freminet, is part of the current Limited Character Banner, alongside Zhongli and Tartaglia, who are five-star characters.
A Reddit user named Gazzorppazzorp has shared three new promotional codes on the main Genshin Impact subreddit. All three codes offer similar rewards, including 10,000 Mora and 10 Adventurer's Experience Books. While some fans are disappointed that the rewards do not include Primogems, others argue that the free Mora and experience can be particularly useful for newer characters. Primogems are considered the main currency in the game, as players can use them to purchase Intertwined and Acquaint Fates, which are used for obtaining new characters and weapons. To obtain the new rewards, travelers must enter the following codes:
- MT8PCZYVG2T5
- NA9NDHHCZKTD
- TA97CGHDHJTH
The recent Special Program event for Version 4.1 of the game has revealed that two new playable characters will be joining the roster in the upcoming update. Neuvillette has already been introduced into the game, as he has appeared in several cutscenes throughout the ongoing storyline. Rumor has it that he is one of the most powerful characters in Fontaine, which has also been demonstrated by his ability to defeat Tartaglia, one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, with ease.
As for his battlefield capabilities, it is expected that Neuvillette will be a new DPS character, with his abilities revolving around an enhanced charged attack. This allows him to unleash a powerful beam that inflicts area-of-effect Hydro damage. His catalyst-wielding counterpart, Wriothesley, prefers close-quarters combat and has been confirmed as the game's first Cryo catalyst user.
This has led many fans to believe that he could become one of the preferred options for players looking to build their team around potent Cryo elemental reactions such as Melt and Freeze. Neuvillette is expected to arrive in the first half of Genshin Impact Version 4.1, while Wriothesley is planned for the second part of the update.
Genshin Impact is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is currently in development.
