It seems that some of you were disappointed by PlayStation's latest State of Play. However, it cannot be denied that the best was saved for last. A truly good glimpse into Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and finally a solid release date. The second part of the Remake trilogy will be exclusively released on PS5 on February 29, 2023. If you haven't played the Remake yet or want to catch up before the release of Rebirth, PlayStation is currently offering a pretty good deal on a Twin-Pack.
Shortly after the State of Play ended on Thursday, a Twin-Pack with Remake Intergrade and Rebirth was released on the PlayStation Store. A pretty good idea for those who want to play both games, especially since the Remake part of the Twin-Pack will be available for download and play immediately after purchase. What makes the idea even sweeter is that the Twin-Pack currently costs exactly the same as pre-ordering Rebirth alone.
Exactly, $70 for Rebirth or $70 for Rebirth with Remake Intergrade. That practically means that Remake is currently free for everyone who pre-orders Rebirth through the PS Store. Such a good deal that I almost feel silly for not taking advantage of it, but since I already own Remake Intergrade, it's not an offer I would benefit from. In fact, attempting to purchase a second copy would likely just confuse my console, as Remake is already installed on my PS5.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake And Rebirth Twin Pack
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be released on February 29, 2024, and builds upon the first part of the story told in the Remake. PlayStation is now selling Remake and Rebirth together as a Twin-Pack, so you can be fully caught up on the previous story before the third and final part of the trilogy is released.
Although PlayStation's Twin-Pack offer won't be available forever, you still have some time to think about it if you're unsure about getting a Game of the Year contender at no additional cost. Or if you can't currently spend $70 for a Rebirth pre-order. The offer will be valid until the release of Rebirth on February 29, 2024. Once the sequel is out, the price of the Twin-Pack will increase to $100. So, tell your friends who are considering hopping on the FF7 Remake train to do it now before it becomes significantly more expensive.
If you're like me and already own Remake Intergrade, you have several Rebirth pre-order options available to you. At the top is the Collector's Edition, which comes with a pretty nice Sephiroth statue. Sure, it's not a 19-inch Venom, but hey, very few things are.
