Here are some recommended loadouts for the TR-76 Geist in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2:

The sixth season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 introduces an abundance of Halloween-inspired delights into the game, particularly an array of exquisite skins for the character Spawn. Additionally, this season unveils a pair of new weapons that players can fervently pursue, among them the TR-76 Geist, alternatively referred to as the Malyuk or Vulcan-M.

The bullpup assault rifle, TR-76 Geist, exhibits identical behavior to its Kalashnikov counterparts, boasting time-to-kill (TTK) and accuracy characteristics reminiscent of the pre-nerf Kastov 762. As such, it stands as an unrivaled force in multiplayer matches, provided you can consistently land your shots, and it also proves to be a reliable choice for Warzone engagements. This guide will elucidate the process of unlocking the TR-76 Geist during the current season, as well as provide insights into advantageous loadout configurations for both MW2 multiplayer and Warzone scenarios.

How To Unlock The TR-76 Geist

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 - Best TR-76 Geist Loadouts

Unlocking the TR-76 Geist can be achieved by progressing through the Season 6 Battle Pass, specifically in sector F7 situated at the upper-left region of the Battle Pass map. If your primary objective is to obtain the TR-76, it will typically necessitate approximately 20 Battle Pass tokens to unlock. It's important to note that, similar to other new weapons, the TR-76 Geist is accessible to all players and does not mandate Battle Pass ownership for unlocking.

DMZ Weapon Extraction

In the DMZ mode of MW2, if you happen to discover a weapon and effectively extract it with you, the acquired weapon will become available for use in both Warzone and MW2 multiplayer. This functionality applies to all weapons, including the TR-76 Geist.

After successfully unlocking the TR-76 Geist, it is necessary to level up the weapon before you can commence with any modifications. The TR-76 Geist encompasses a total of 23 levels. For players who possess MW2, an efficient method to expedite the leveling process involves engaging in the Shipment 24/7 playlist. As for Warzone players, participating in Plunder or Resurgence modes whenever they are accessible proves advantageous for leveling the TR-76 Geist.

Rear GripSTIP-66 GripTune for ADS and sprint to fire speeds
CombFSS Hardtop CombTune for ADS speed

This loadout is specifically designed for MW2 multiplayer, optimizing the TR-76 to become a faster and more aggressive assault rifle that excels in medium-range encounters. Our customization begins by equipping the VLK LZR 7mw attachment, significantly enhancing the weapon's aiming stability and aim-down-sights (ADS) speed. This modification also provides a slight improvement to our sprint-to-fire time, a characteristic further enhanced through the attachment tuning and inclusion of the FSS Hardtop Comb. Considering the moderate recoil observed during the initial three bullets, we incorporate the FTAC Ripper 56 underbarrel and STIP-66 Grip attachments, effectively mitigating the weapon's recoil and ensuring remarkable accuracy within a range of up to 50 meters. Lastly, we employ the FR Titan Silencer, enabling us to suppress each shot fired without incurring any ADS penalties.

The outcome is an assault rifle with a relatively short sprint-to-fire delay of 130 milliseconds, which is further decreased through weapon tuning. Additionally, the aim-down-sights (ADS) time is slightly faster, approximately 240 milliseconds. Although not as quick as an SMG, these adjustments provide the TR-76 with a competitive edge across various multiplayer maps in MW2. If you're engaging in Hardcore mode or game types with limited lives like Search and Destroy, it is advisable to substitute the VLK LZR attachment with a non-visible laser.

Ultimate PerkGhost

With the inclusion of a suppressor and swift sprint-out times, this weapon build is particularly suited for a stealth-oriented approach. For general multiplayer usage, we suggest employing the Double Time, Fast Hands, and Ghost perks. Among these, Ghost holds significant importance as it conceals your presence from UAV scans, granting you a tactical advantage during combat. Fast Hands proves beneficial for swift reloading following engagements, while Double Time amplifies the effectiveness of tactical sprinting. Since Quick Fix is not part of this loadout, we highly recommend equipping Stims in your tactical slot. Additionally, Dead Silence synergizes well with this setup, muffling your footsteps and facilitating easier flanking maneuvers. The remaining aspects of this loadout can be tailored to personal preference.

Magazine45 Round MagN/A

This loadout aims to enhance the TR-76 Geist's performance at long ranges, rendering it a more competitive option for Ground War and Warzone engagements. The key attachment in this setup is the Bruen Bridle Heavy, which effectively reduces both vertical and horizontal recoil of the weapon. To further minimize recoil deviation, we incorporate the Sakin Tread-40 attachment, resulting in a nearly flawless vertical recoil pattern. By adding the FTAC Ripper 56 underbarrel, the TR-76 Geist becomes highly stable even during sustained fire. To complete the build, we recommend equipping a larger 45 Round Mag and selecting an optic that suits your preferences.

Although the aim-down-sights (ADS) speed is notably slower in this particular setup, the TR-76 exhibits virtually flawless accuracy with this configuration. With these attachments, you can effortlessly achieve consistent headshots from distances exceeding 50 meters. The increased magazine capacity further enhances the effectiveness of this build, making it particularly well-suited for Warzone engagements. If you desire to enhance your ADS speed, you have the option to replace the barrel with a different recoil-reducing attachment. However, it's important to note that doing so will compromise the long-range accuracy of the weapon.

Base PerksOverkill, Bomb Squad

Ultimate PerkGhost

While this weapon excels in long-range gunfights, its subpar aim-down-sights (ADS) speed necessitates the use of Overkill and equipping a close-range primary weapon. Good options for the secondary weapon slot include SMGs, shotguns, and specific ARs like the STB 556. As for perks, a wide range of choices can be effective. For Warzone players, a recommended selection would include Overkill, Bomb Squad, Fast Hands, and Ghost to cover various aspects of gameplay. In terms of gear, the Spotter Scope proves valuable for spotting distant targets, while Throwing Knives offer an easy means to eliminate downed opponents. Field Upgrades can be tailored to personal preference.
