Merchants play a crucial role in Soulslike games, including Lies Of P. They offer useful items to support your journey, such as weapons, equipment, consumables, and more. You have likely encountered some merchants in the game world already, often found in proximity to stargazers to facilitate easy access to them.
In Lies Of P, you will encounter various wandering merchants throughout the entirety of the game, from the beginning to the final chapter. If you are curious about finding them all and making the most of their unique items, we have you covered.
Wandering Merchant #1
The first merchant you will encounter is impossible to miss. When you reach Carasani Alley, you will see this merchant standing next to the stargazer.
From here, you can engage in your first boss battle with the Parry Master.

Consult this guide to find out where you can locate Alidoro.
Alidoro's inventory includes weapons and amulets that are related to the boss Ergo you possess, and his selection is updated every time you acquire a new rare Ergo.

However, after the defeat of Champion Victor, he will eventually move to Barren Swamp. Subsequently, following the incident at the hotel, he will relocate to the Relic of Trismegistus.
Malum District Black Market Trader
As the name suggests, you will encounter this merchant in the Malum District, specifically when you arrive at the Red Lobster Inn. To find him, go to the upper floor and use a ladder hidden behind some barrels.
Unlike other merchants where the inventory is immediately available, with this merchant, you must choose from several methods to gain access.
You can do this either by finding the Smiling Hare trait, bribing him, or defeating the Elder of the Black Hare Brotherhood.
For detailed instructions, refer to this guide on how to unlock the merchant shop in the Malum District.
Unlocking the inventory of this merchant may require some effort, but it is definitely worth it, as they offer a greater variety of items compared to others.

As you make your way to get wine for the old lady at the window, you will eventually reach a fountain where an item called the "Arcade Underground Pass Key" can be found. The merchant is located nearby and stands close to this fountain.
On the opposite side of the fountain, you will find a shortcut that provides direct access to the stargazer, simplifying your journey to the merchant.

Test Subject 826
This is the last merchant you will encounter, and you will find him towards the end of the game in the Arche Abbey.
When you initially encounter Test Subject 826 near the stargazer on the outer wall of Arche Abbey, they will not serve as a merchant. You must first continue your journey and defeat Laxasia the Perfected.
Once you have achieved that, Test Subject 826 will relocate to Rosa Isabelle Street.
To gain access to Test Subject 826's shop, you need to open the front doors of Arche Abbey. Once those doors are open, you will find him on the bridge overlooking the street where you fought the crazy clown doll, just before reaching the opera house.
You can access his inventory by interacting with him at that location, and the table below lists the items he offers for sale.
