Honkai Star Rail unveils a new character named Argenti

Honkai: Star Rail has officially unveiled the second featured character, Argenti, who will be introduced in the Version 1.5 update. Argenti is a member of the Knights of Beauty. As the release of Version 1.4 approaches, with HoYoverse set to provide more details during Friday's Special Program, the developer has already started teasing the next update of the RPG. Earlier this week, HoYoverse revealed Huohuo as a new character from Xianzhou Luofu. Now, Argenti is confirmed as the second character to join in the November update.

Limited information is currently available regarding Argenti's role in the Honkai: Star Rail universe, apart from sporadic leaks. Speculations about Argenti's arrival have circulated for a while, with early leaks hinting at his future playable status since the early stages of the game. Leaks have also suggested that players may encounter Argenti as an in-game boss, following a pattern seen with previous playable characters like Yanqing and Kafka appearing as enemies. The latest announcement from Honkai: Star Rail indicates that players won't have to wait much longer to include Argenti in their teams.

Honkai: Star Rail's official social media accounts have made an exciting new announcement, confirming Argenti as the second playable five-star character in Version 1.5. Argenti is introduced as a member of the esteemed "Knights of Beauty" within Star Rail, a revered order of knights who pay homage to the fallen Aeon Idrila. Argenti is depicted wearing an elaborate suit of armor adorned with red-and-gold accents, and his biography highlights his disciplined and devout approach to combat. Argenti is anticipated to become available in the latter half of Honkai: Star Rail's Version 1.5 update.

The announcement post about Argenti also provides a clue about how this knightly character will fit into Honkai: Star Rail team compositions. It is confirmed that Argenti will be introduced to the game as a Physical element character in the Erudition Path, specializing in dealing significant area-of-effect (AoE) damage. As the first character with this specific combination of element and Path, Argenti fills a gap in the roster, as Physical characters generally lack strong area damage capabilities. So far, no leaks have surfaced revealing specific gameplay details or abilities of Argenti within Honkai: Star Rail.

The introduction of Argenti in Version 1.5 of Honkai: Star Rail will follow several highly anticipated additions to the game's roster. In the ongoing Version 1.3, Imbibitor Lunae was introduced as an alternate version of the starter character Dan Heng, alongside the addition of Master Diviner Fu Xuan from Xianzhou Luofu. Version 1.4 is also expected to bring new characters such as Topaz and one of the game's most eagerly awaited characters, Jingliu. Argenti aims to provide players with a strong area-of-effect (AoE) option when building Physical teams in Honkai: Star Rail.

Honkai: Star Rail is currently available for PC and mobile devices, and a PS5 version will be released on October 11th.
