In Lies Of P, you can either find or buy various items from different merchants. While you will encounter some of these merchants outside of Hotel Krat, you will also find some within the hotel as you progress. One of the very first merchants you meet inside Hotel Krat is Polendina.
At the beginning, he has some basic items in stock, but you can expand his inventory by purchasing a specific supply crate. An interesting item he offers after obtaining this supply crate is an apple; yes, just a simple apple. In this world populated by puppets, you might wonder what purpose an apple could serve. That is probably why you were searching for it.
How To Get Bright Red Apple
To obtain the bright red apple, you must first find the Krat supply crate and then hand it over to Polendina.
Once you reach the library of St. Frangelico Cathedral, climb all the way to the top until you reach the cauldron that reveals the location of the handcrafted cryptic vessel.
From this cauldron, jump to the other side where you will discover an entrance. In this room, you will face a formidable enemy before gaining access to the next area.
If you find this challenge difficult, you can lure him to the entrance where he cannot go beyond, and then defeat him. He will still attack, but this tactic can make the fight easier.
After defeating the enemy, the door on the right side of the room will unlock. Inside, again on the right side, you will discover a chest containing the Krat supply crate.
Return to Hotel Krat and hand over this crate to Polendina. This will expand his store inventory, and you can purchase the bright red apple for 1,000 Ergo.
What Should You Do With The Apple?
Now that you have the apple, continue playing the game and progress until you reach the entrance of the Estella Opera House "Stargazer."
This is the main part of the storyline, so you won't miss it.
Inside the opera house, you need to find an NPC named Adelina.
Starting from Stargazer, enter the opera house and go up two flights of stairs to the right.
Follow this path, and you will encounter a spider lady who can cause disturbance.
Be careful, as some of the puppet dolls controlled by her will also cause disturbances. If your disturbance meter is full, you will die instantly.
After defeating these enemies, continue your path until you find an entrance on the right side.
You will know you are going in the right direction when you discover a burning chandelier here.
Make two left turns, and you will come across a door. Open it to meet the famous opera singer Adelina.
Interact with Adelina, and you will learn that she is suffering from the petrification disease.
Her final wish is to taste a fruit.
Fortunately, you have the apple with you, and being a puppet yourself, you cannot eat it. So, choose the option "Give an apple" when prompted to do so.
Now, all that's left is to defeat the boss in this area. We won't reveal any details about this boss because it's worth experiencing this encounter for yourself.
After defeating the boss, return to the location of Adelina. Unfortunately, you will find that she is dead, but at least you have fulfilled her final wish.
