Daniel's Morality

Daniel's morality plays a crucial role in determining how the endings unfold.

At the conclusion of the final episode, Sean will face a pivotal decision: to either surrender or request that Daniel use his powers to help them bypass a police blockade.

The outcomes of both of these choices are influenced by Daniel's morality, resulting in four distinct endings. Additionally, the remaining three endings are variations of these, influenced by minor choices made throughout the game.

Daniel's morality undergoes changes based on the player's actions as Sean throughout the entire game. As the player, you are constantly setting an example for your brother throughout the narrative, whether you are aware of it or not. His morality is closely connected to your own, and thus, your choices should align with what you desire for his character development.

How To Raise His Morality

Sean is presented with various options throughout the game, including the opportunity to refuse to steal, the chance to discourage Daniel from using profanity, and occasions where he can guide Daniel to utilize his powers for benevolent purposes.

Opting for these paths will assist in shaping Daniel's morality, helping him understand that they are not criminals but rather brothers who found themselves caught up in chaotic circumstances.

How To Lower His Morality

Alternatively, you can encourage Daniel to swear, steal, and use his powers to prioritize your own well-being, with little consideration for the harm caused to others, potentially resulting in injuries or even deaths.

This will lead to low morality in Daniel.

Redemption Ending (High Morality Ending)

The Redemption ending is when all debts are settled. In this ending, Daniel briefly contemplates using his powers but soon comes to the realization that he doesn't want to cause harm to others.

As Sean surrenders, he reminds Daniel that they are doing the right thing and urges him to remember the lessons he taught him. Sean then spends the next 15 years in jail, while Daniel grows up under the care of their grandparents. Eventually, Daniel learns to utilize his powers for the greater good.

Lyla Variant Only	Call Lyla in episode one. If you do, you'll have another option to call her later, which you must do.

Parting Ways (High Morality Ending)

Even if Daniel has a high level of morality, you still have the option to choose to ask him to use his powers.

Initially, Daniel refuses to cause harm to anyone. However, as Sean keeps driving, Daniel eventually uses his powers to move the cars obstructing their path before jumping out of the car himself.

Similar to before, Daniel grows up under the care of his grandparents. However, this time the montage images depicting his life are slightly different. Six years later, we witness a scene where Daniel opens a letter from Sean, which includes pictures of Sean in Puerto Lobos, indicating that he remained free. Additionally, we see Daniel making a phone call to Karen, indicating that he maintained contact with his mother as well.

Parting Ways Cassidy And Finn Variants

The Parting Ways ending has two variants, each adding an additional image showing Sean with either Cassidy or Finn. Apart from this variation, the rest of the ending remains the same.

How To Unlock The Parting Ways Endings

To experience any version of the Parting Ways ending, you need to complete the following actions:

All Versions	Make sure you set a good example for Daniel throughout the game, causing him to have high morals.
All Versions	Ask Daniel to use his powers at the police blockade.
Cassidy Variant Only	Woo Cassidy by listening to her sing, getting drunk with her, and allowing her to make choices for you, like cutting your hair or choosing your tattoo. You can also swim with her, kiss her, refuse to join the heist, and even spend the night with her. These choices will affect your relationship with Daniel and can get her injured, so choose with caution.
Finn Variant Only	Woo Finn. To do so, you need to have a conversation about sexuality with him in order to unlock further interactions, including the option to say boys are cute. If you agree to the heist, it will impress Finn and lead to a romance. Later, assuming Finn survives, you can speak to him in the hospital and choose to forgive him.

Lone Wolf (Low Morality Ending)

In the Lone Wolf ending, Daniel refuses to surrender and instead utilizes his powers to create a path through the police blockade, allowing them to drive through the border.

Once they reach the other side, Daniel joyfully informs Sean that they are free. However, when he turns around, he discovers that Sean has been shot.

The subsequent heartbreaking montage depicts Sean's death and Daniel's inability to recover from the loss. Daniel adopts the life of a criminal in Puerto Lobos, exhibiting only a glimpse of morality as he spares a life towards the end.
