However, participating in online matchmaking still seems to be the best way to quickly and efficiently earn large amounts of Mastery Rank experience points.

Master Rank Rewards In Mortal Kombat 1

As mentioned above, Mortal Kombat 1 features Mastery Ranks for both main game characters and cameos. Each Mastery Rank comes with a reward, ranging from a new Fatality, a Kombat Card, to a new color palette for the character with whom you achieved the rank.
