MultiVersus is available again in the PlayStation Store, while the director raves about a "good day."

After being removed earlier this year, MultiVersus has now reappeared in the PlayStation Store, coinciding with the game director's playful remark that it had been a "good day."

If, like me, you were a big fan of MultiVersus, then 2023 was quite a bleak year for you. Not only did the game's content practically come to a halt after Christmas, but it was also announced that the game would be taken offline until 2024 to give the developers time to create more content and essentially relaunch something that never had the chance to properly take off.

Since its removal in April, the developers at Player First Games have provided us with some updates on MultiVersus. However, many players have been skeptical, believing that the game may never make a comeback, which is understandable given the current state of the live-service market. But for those who don't lose faith and are concerned about the fate of MultiVersus, there is good news: the game is already available again in the PlayStation Store.

As mentioned by the reliable MultiVersus insider, multiversusie, MultiVersus can once again be found in the PlayStation Store, which should restore confidence that work is still being done and a comeback is likely. Currently, the game cannot be purchased or downloaded, and it is listed as "Announced" with a yet-to-be-determined release date. Nevertheless, this is much better than the game being completely removed from the store.

At the moment, it is not entirely clear what it means for MultiVersus to be available again in the PlayStation Store and what the current state of development of the game is. However, it appears likely that we may get a first glimpse of it before the end of the year. When the game was taken offline, players were promised its return "early 2024," which suggests that a re-introduction before the end of the year is possible.

To make things even more exciting, MultiVersus director Tony Huynh shared a tweet on the same day that the game's reappearance in the PlayStation Store was discovered. The tweet simply reads, "Today was a good day," which doesn't reveal much, but it's interesting that it happened on the same day as one of the first signs of MultiVersus' return. Even if Huynh's tweet was merely coincidental and unrelated to the PlayStation Store, it is evident that the development of MultiVersus is progressing smoothly.
