2023 has been one of the busiest years in the history of video games, and despite having only a few months remaining, there is still time to fit in a few more major titles. One of these highly anticipated titles is Persona 5 Tactica. Persona was initially a spinoff series, but it has grown so immensely in popularity that one could argue Persona has surpassed the series from which it originated. Furthermore, even Persona's own games are now receiving spinoffs. Persona 5 Tactica is the next installment in the series, set to release on November 17, 2023, across all major gaming platforms.

Seven years have passed since our initial introduction to the world of Persona 5, and three years have gone by since its last significant spinoff. With Tactica, we will revisit this world, focusing not only on a group of new yet familiar characters but also revolutionizing the Persona genre itself. Tactica will center around the Phantom Thieves, and instead of employing the turn-based battle system found in its predecessor, it will introduce a battle grid, offering a more tactical gameplay experience that serves as the inspiration behind the spinoff's name.

If you're a devoted fan of Persona and you're here to secure your copy of Persona 5 Tactica, you now face a decision. There are three pre-order options available to choose from: the Digital Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and, for those who prefer a physical copy they can hold, the Physical Launch Edition. Persona 5 Tactica

Just want to download the base game the second it becomes available? No problem. The Digital Standard Edition is the one for you. Nothing but a digital copy of the game plus the pre-order bonuses if you buy it before release day.

No matter which edition you select, if you pre-order Persona 5 Tactica, you will receive the pre-order bonuses. These bonuses include two summons that you can utilize in battles, featuring characters from previous Persona games: Orpheus from Persona 3 and Izanagi from Persona 4. It is uncertain whether these summons will be available for purchase after the game's release, so if you desire them, pre-ordering is necessary.

Persona 5 Tactica

Even though you don't get a physical copy of the game with the Digital Deluxe option, it might well be the version that offers up the most extras. Loads of in-game add-ons you don't get with the Standard Edition including a whole bunch of upcoming DLC.

Persona fans are in for a treat as they can look forward to a satisfying lineup of releases through the end of 2023 and into 2024, following a relatively dry period after the launch of Persona 5 Strikers. Tactica is set to release on November 17, and approximately two and a half months later, on February 2, Persona 3 Reload will be available. Unlike Tactica, Reload is not a spinoff but a remaster of Persona 3. However, it is worth noting that Reload will not be a complete edition, as it has been confirmed that FES and Portable will not be included in the remaster.
