In Remnant 2, armor plays a crucial role in enhancing your defense and aiding you in withstanding various types of damage from enemies. There are four types of armor sets in the game: ultra-heavy, heavy, medium, and light. Generally, heavier armor sets provide higher defense but reduce your mobility.
On the other hand, lighter armor sets offer less protection but allow for better mobility. Your choice of armor should align with your preferred playstyle. However, there is a middle ground between these two extremes, and the Dendroid armor set perfectly exemplifies this balance.
How To Get The Dendroid Armor Set
You can obtain the Dendroid armor set in the final world of the game, called Root Earth.
It is worth mentioning that if you choose the Invader archetype, you will start the game with this armor.
To find it, start from the Ashen Wasteland in Root Earth and proceed until you reach an open area with many enemies and destroyed cars. Look for an opening with wooden planks and a faint red glow on the left side, not far from the large opening that leads to a checkpoint.
From here, you can also find the relic "Resonating Heart" and the ring "Zania's Malice."
Here, you need to crouch and enter the building through this opening. Inside, you will find a ledge to the left that leads to the upper floor. Follow it, and you will see an entrance to the right.
After entering, turn left and proceed forward. You will find another ledge that leads you upwards. Once you're up there, you will encounter some platforms that you can jump on to reach the opposite side of the building.
Now you are on the other side and see a platform to the right, protruding from the main wall. You have to jump onto it carefully without falling down.
It might take a few tries, but try to jump without sprinting.
Follow this path downwards, and you will discover the melee weapon Steel Katana and, most importantly, the Dendroid Armor Set.
Dendroid Armor Set Overview
The Dendroid Armor Set is a lightweight armor set designed for agility and quick evasion. It provides you with decent protection without slowing down your stamina regeneration, thus having lower impairment.
This armor is particularly effective against bleeding damage and poison damage.
