Rumors of a Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 leak suggest that additional operators will be coming to the game

New leaks suggest that Modern Warfare 2 will introduce new operators in the future, offering players a wide range of fresh and thrilling skins to choose from.

Activision has already released numerous operator skins and packages featuring prominent real-life personalities, including a Lara Croft skin for the current season.

These leaks unveil potential operators from popular franchises such as He-Man, Spawn, and Evil Dead, indicating that Activision aims to cater to a wide range of player interests and provide a nostalgic and entertaining experience.

Recently emerged leaks may have provided fans with an initial glimpse into some new operators that may potentially appear in Modern Warfare 2 in the future. The next installment of the series is underway, and the dates for the open beta of Modern Warfare 3 have been confirmed. However, the current edition of the Call of Duty franchise continues to produce new seasons and content. Just recently, Season 5 Reloaded was launched, immersing players in the action, introducing new operators, and delivering thrilling gameplay.

Since the game's release in 2022, players have already received dozens of new operator skins, with more in the works. Activision has unveiled a Lara Croft skin for this season, along with packages featuring real-life celebrities and superstars. These skins provide long-time players with the opportunity to try something new and give their avatars a fresh appearance that reflects their interests or passions. Now, it appears there is a series of new skins that are likely to delight players from various fandoms.

Since the start of Season 5 Reloaded for Modern Warfare 2, the Task Force Leakers Network has begun examining the game files and uncovering clues about planned operator skins. These skins include Skeletor from He-Man, Spawn, and Ash Williams from the Evil Dead series. The individual or group behind the network, who are already known for sharing Call of Duty news, shares their findings on Twitter and expresses excitement for what's to come.

Among the evidently upcoming skins, there are also Captain Price, as he appears in the original Modern Warfare 2, Alucard from Hellsing, and quite literally a primate in military gear. If these leaks prove to be accurate, it seems that Activision is aiming to appeal to as many diverse players as possible. The new operators will offer a great deal of nostalgia for fans of older franchises while simultaneously injecting a healthy dose of absurdity. In particular, Ash Williams is likely to resonate with many, as his series continues to have a passionate fan base. There is still a demand for Evil Dead merchandise and collectibles in the year 2023.

Amidst all these purported skins and the recent release of the operator bundle featuring 21 Savage in Modern Warfare 2, fans should expect a plethora of new content on the battlefield in the future. While Modern Warfare 3 may represent the near future for the franchise, Activision is making it clear that they are not done with the current installment just yet. Players should keep an eye out for confirmations on these skins in the days to come.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
