As the conversation begins, she asks to try out a technique she learned during her time in Avernus. However, as she starts speaking, she turns around and looks directly into the camera, rather than at the player's character, and addresses the player directly. Karlach almost seems like a different person, as she apparently realizes that she is in a video game before becoming the spokesperson for Larian Studios and asking the player if they are enjoying Baldur's Gate 3. Afterward, she returns to her normal self as if nothing happened.

Chubblot used a trick behind the scenes to trigger this special conversation, so players are not yet entirely sure how to trigger it naturally within the game. However, Samantha Beart, the voice actress of Karlach in Baldur's Gate 3, reposted the scene on her personal Twitter account, teasing that she would talk more about it once someone figures out how to trigger the interaction organically. This suggests that the scene is indeed somewhere in the game, and players just need to search a little more carefully to find it.

Chubblot's YouTube video showcasing the scene garnered over 400,000 views within a few days and went viral on social media.
