Spider-Man 2 has released a sneak peek of the Brooklyn 2099 and Kumo suits for the first time

Spider-Man 2 will feature a wide variety of new and intriguing suits for both Peter Parker and Miles Morales to don as they swing through the streets of New York. While the complete selection of available suits is still undisclosed, developer Insomniac Games has graciously provided a sneak peek at two new suits that will be included in the game upon its release: the Brooklyn 2099 suit and the all-new Kumo suit.

Insomniac Games recently posted a few pictures on Twitter, showcasing both Miles Morales and Peter Parker wearing these flashy suits. Fans of Spider-Man: Miles Morales will likely recognize the Brooklyn 2099 suit, as it was featured in the spinoff game when it was released in 2021. It's exciting to see it make a return in the sequel, and we also know that Miles Morales will have at least one more eye-catching suit to unveil later this month.

However, the Kumo suit is an entirely new design and is undoubtedly the highlight of the tweet, judging by the enthusiastic reactions from fans in the tweet's replies. Unlike many other suits featured in previous games, the Kumo suit does not seem to be based on any existing Spider-Man media, indicating that it is likely an original design by Insomniac. While no details have been released regarding how players can obtain these suits, fortunately, we won't have to wait too long to find out.

With this update, we now have a fairly solid understanding of at least twelve or so suits that will be available in the game upon its release. Naturally, we can expect Peter Parker's black suit, granting him the powers of the Symbiote. Additionally, there have been recent announcements regarding a variety of DLC suits for both Peter and Miles, such as the Apunkalyptic Suit, 25th Century Suit, Tokutatsu Suit, Agimat Suit, Encoded Suit, and several others.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Spider-Man 2, particularly due to the recent surge in story spoilers circulating on social media platforms over the past few days. Insomniac has cautioned fans about the presence of story spoilers and highlighted the abundance of gameplay videos surfacing on sites like Twitter and Reddit. As a result, those who wish to preserve the surprises and keep the adventures of Miles and Peter a secret until the release day should consider implementing a complete social media lockdown.

Fortunately, we only have a little over a week to wait for the official release of Spider-Man 2, which will be exclusively available on PS5 starting from October 20. Until then, it's best to prepare yourself and exercise patience.
