Stardew Valley Best Gifts For Haley

In Stardew Valley, there are a total of 45 residents in Pelican Town. One of these residents is the stunning blonde named Haley. Despite her initial coldness, Haley is a wonderful individual with a warm and caring heart. Players are eager to develop a deeper friendship with Haley and learn more about her. Engaging in heartfelt conversations and giving thoughtful gifts are essential for building lasting relationships in Stardew Valley.

In Stardew Valley, Haley is an enthusiastic photographer who has a talent for capturing the beauty of the Valley's natural marvels. Like other non-playable characters (NPCs) in the game, Haley can receive up to two gifts per week, and an extra one on her birthday, which falls on Spring 14. Gifts given on her birthday have eight times the usual impact on increasing Haley's friendship with the players.

Haley’s Loved Gifts

Stardew Valley Best Gifts For Haley

Unlike the majority of characters in Stardew Valley, Haley is quite specific and choosy when it comes to the gifts she prefers. When she receives something she loves, Haley will exclaim, "Oh my god, this is my favorite thing!" Apart from the Prismatic Shard, Haley greatly appreciates receiving the following items, which are considered Universal Loves.

Coconut

Although Haley has a dislike for all fruits in Stardew Valley, she has a particular fondness for being gifted Coconuts. Coconuts are the edible seeds of the coconut palm and can be used in various culinary preparations. Players can obtain coconuts by foraging in the Calico Desert or by shaking palm trees on Ginger Island. To shake a tree, players just need to stand beside it and right-click on it.

For players who have not yet unlocked Ginger Island, they have the option to obtain Coconuts at The Oasis on Mondays for 400 g. Additionally, Coconuts can sometimes be found in The Traveling Cart's inventory, with prices ranging from 300 to 1,000 g.

Players need to reach Foraging Level 1 in order for Palm Trees to start dropping coconuts when they are shaken or chopped down.

Fruit Salad

The Fruit Salad, a delightful combination of summer fruits, is prepared using the following ingredients: 1 Blueberry, 1 Melon, and 1 Apricot. The recipe for this delicious dish can be obtained from the cooking show "The Queen of Sauce" in Stardew Valley. It was shared in an episode that aired on Fall 7, Year 2.

The Fruit Salad is a cooked dish, which means it can only be prepared inside the kitchen of an upgraded farmhouse or by using a Cookout Kit. Once it is crafted, players have the option to gift it to Haley as a way to win her affection.

Despite being described as a combination of summer fruits, Apricot Trees in Stardew Valley only produce Apricots during the Spring season.

Pink Cake

Haley has a strong affection for Pink Cake adorned with small heart candies on top. Players can create this cake using the kitchen in an upgraded farmhouse or by utilizing a Cookout Kit. The recipe for Pink Cake is featured in an episode of "The Queen of Sauce" that aired on Summer 21, Year 2. To make a Pink Cake, the required ingredients include 1 Melon, 1 Wheat Flour, and 1 Sugar.

For players who have a male character, they can receive a Pink Cake in the mail, enclosed in a Letter from Mom. However, this will only occur after the player has earned 120,000 g. Additionally, Pink Cakes are also given as gifts during the Feast of the Winter Star.

An alternative method of obtaining Pink Cake is by defeating Big Slimes found on Floors 40 and beyond in the Mines, as well as any floor in the Skull Cavern. These slimes have a 0.1% chance of dropping Pink Cake when defeated. Furthermore, players are rewarded with 3 Pink Cakes upon completing the Chef's Bundle on the Bulletin Board.

Sunflower

Sunflowers are vibrant yellow flowers that are cultivated from Sunflower Seeds. When planted during either the Summer or Fall seasons, Sunflower Seeds require approximately 8 days to grow into a mature, large Sunflower.

Sunflower Seeds can be bought at Pierre's General Store for 200 g and at JojaMart for 125 g. Interestingly, Sunflower Seeds are the only seeds that are less expensive at JojaMart than at the General Store. Occasionally, players may also come across Sunflower Seeds at the Traveling Cart, with prices ranging from 100 to 1000 g.

Harvesting a Sunflower results in obtaining 1 Sunflower and 0-2 Sunflower Seeds.

Haley’s Liked Gifts

Players who wish to impress Haley right from the start of the game and cannot wait until Summer to give her "Loved gifts" can present her with something she truly enjoys. Among the Universal Likes (excluding Vegetables), Haley appreciates receiving Daffodils as gifts. When she receives something she likes, Haley will express her surprise by exclaiming, "gasp... for me? Thank you!"

Daffodils

A Daffodil is a classic spring flower that serves as a delightful gift for Haley. Players can acquire Daffodils by foraging in various locations throughout Stardew Valley during the Spring season. To gather Daffodils and cultivate them using Spring Seeds, players must achieve Foraging Level 1.

Although Daffodils are not typically available for purchase in any of the shops in Pelican Town, players have a special opportunity to buy them on one occasion. During the annual Flower Dance event on Spring 24, players can purchase ten Daffodils from Pierre's Booth for 50 g. It's a unique chance to acquire Daffodils and participate in the festive Flower Dance celebration.

Stardew Valley is currently available on various platforms, including Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
