Stardew Valley: Where to Get Daffodils

Spring in Stardew Valley is a season of new beginnings and growth. As spring arrives, the valley comes alive with vibrant flowers, and fresh patches of grass sprout up on the farm, in the Cindersap Forest, and throughout Pelican Town. This season also brings forth a variety of crops, collectible items, and fish that are only available during this time of year.

Collectible items are wild-growing resources scattered throughout Stardew Valley that players can gather to improve their gathering skills. One collectible item that can be found in spring is the Daffodil, a traditional spring flower. However, some players, especially beginners, may find it challenging to obtain Daffodils in Stardew Valley.

Stardew Valley Where to Get Daffodils

Daffodils, with their delicate yellow petals, have the power to brighten anyone's day, making them the perfect gift for the villagers. Below are the various ways in which players can obtain Daffodils in Stardew Valley.

Foraging Daffodils

The best way to obtain a large quantity of Daffodils is through gathering. Players can find these delightful flowers at various locations throughout the valley.

  1. Pelican Town: There’s a 100% chance to find Daffodils scattered all around Town. Players can simply walk around outside their farm and pick them up wherever they see them.
  2. Bus Stop: Players have a 45% chance of finding Daffodils on the ground at the Bus Stop in Stardew Valley.
  3. Railroad: There is a 45% chance for players to find Daffodils spread around the Railroad.

The railroad becomes accessible only after an earthquake in the summer of the first year, which clears the blocked passage.

Growing Daffodils

Another way for players to obtain Daffodils is by growing them on the farm. Daffodils are grown from Spring Seeds. To craft Spring Seeds, players must use the crafting recipe labeled as "Wild Seeds (Sp)", which becomes available to them upon reaching level 1 in the gathering skill.

The recipe requires 1 Wild Horseradish, 1 Daffodil, 1 Leek, and 1 Dandelion. By combining these ingredients, 10 Spring Seeds are crafted per recipe. When planted, each Spring Seed has an equal chance of producing any of the Spring forage items, including Daffodils.

Purchasing Daffodils
