One of the funniest and most unexpected joys of Starfield is the sheer number of strange greetings you receive from other ships as you travel through the stars. It's a beautifully human reminder that the other people out there piloting spacecraft are actually human too. And while the SSNN research ship is far from being the funniest, it still serves as a fantastic reflection of what life can be like when you simply step outside.

If you want to impress the SSNN reporter, you should aim to answer each question precisely. And if you want a foolproof guarantee for that, you should read our guide.

The SSNN Survey Ship

Starfield All SSNN Quiz Answers

We cannot say with certainty where exactly you will encounter the SSNN survey ship, but we also don't believe it's random. Similar to many of the random radio contacts, as we will call them, encountering the SSNN survey ship appears to happen with a random probability as you enter different star systems. If information arises indicating a higher probability in certain systems (for example, it wouldn't surprise us if it occurs more frequently in UC space than in lawless backwaters), we will inform you.

To make it clear, here is what the reporter will ask you when you finally meet them. It goes without saying, but please go ahead and accept the invitation to come aboard when it is offered.

Question

Correct Response

"When did the Colony War end?"

2311.

"What does 'Sanctum Universum' mean in Latin?"

Holy Universe.

"Neuroamps were created by what company?"

Ryujin.

"What year was the Treaty of Narion signed?"

2216.

"Coe’s Day is a celebration held in which city founded by Solomon Coe?"

Akila.

"The Red Mile Obstacle Course takes place on what star system?"

Porrima.

"The term 'spacer' refers to which of the following?"

A person born in space.

"What type of sport is played in the CEC?"

Starship combat.

While the remaining two questions that arise after the formal completion of the survey do not affect the outcome, the number of correct answers plays an important role in the reporter's dialogue at the end of the task. It is particularly amusing if you answer almost none of them correctly, at which point she decides that SSNN needs to "simplify" their reporting. Don't worry, SSNN. We won't reveal it.

Your reward will be approximately 2500 credits and some ship materials - and the fun of having completed another one of Starfield's slightly quirky little quests.
