Starfield: How to Complete Cargo Delivery Missions

The world of Starfield is brimming with a plethora of missions, capable of engaging you for hours on end. The game's main quest allows you to fully immerse yourself, while various side missions can be utilized to enhance your level and accumulate credits, enabling you to acquire superior weapons, suits, and spacecraft.

One type of these side missions is referred to as cargo missions, and there is a specific method to obtain them. By visiting certain areas such as Luna or The Well in Jemison, you may even encounter an activity that requires the completion of a cargo mission.

Where To Find Cargo Missions

In order to acquire a cargo mission in Starfield, you must first seek out a mission board scattered throughout the capital cities of inhabited systems. These boards are typically found in bars located near spaceports. For instance, you will find one at The Viewport in Jemison and at the hotel near the elevator on Neon.

These boards are usually located next to a self-service bounty release board, but they can also stand alone if you find them in a remote bar. For the next part, you'll need a bit of luck. As you browse through the missions on the board, there is a chance that you may receive one of the cargo missions from the Trading Authority.

If you don't have a cargo mission, you can try to find another board, as the missions vary on each board.

The missions are also reset every in-game day, allowing you to sit at a location or use a bed to skip time.

How To Finish The Cargo Mission

The first thing you should know about cargo missions is that they may not be a task you want to undertake at the beginning of the game. These quests require you to have a specific amount of available cargo space on your ship, which is typically over 200 kg. It is recommended to upgrade your cargo hold or purchase a new ship before attempting them.

Once you have enough space, you can accept this mission, which typically grants you approximately five days for delivery. Navigate to the mission menu and select it to track the planet to which you need to deliver. Now, simply follow the blue marker until you reach the location, and the mission will automatically be completed.
