Starfield - How to Obtain Power from Temples

Once you dive into the interstellar world of Starfield, you can expect many things related to space, but supernatural powers are probably not among them. Aside from assisting you in combat, some of these powers can also aid you in exploring the open world or making difficult decisions.

However, these powers will not be available to you at the beginning of the game, and you will have to progress quite far in the main story to acquire them. Your first power will become available during the quest "Into the Unknown," and here is how you can easily obtain it.

Where To Get Powers In Starfield

Once you accept the quest "Into the Unknown," you will be prompted to go to a specific planet and utilize the special effects of your scanner to locate the source of power. Exit your spacecraft on the planet and rotate your camera using the scanner screen. You will notice a small glitch effect on the white lines of the scanner at certain angles.

Once you notice this effect, you can move in that direction. Initially, you might see the effect at a wide angle, but it will gradually become more precise as you get closer. Additionally, the glitch effect will become stronger during the process, and you will also hear a glitch audio effect indicating that you are getting closer.

Eventually, you will come across a massive temple that appears as a ruin. You need to find the main gate of this temple, and the easiest way to locate it is by looking for a pair of straight walls that gradually become taller. The temple's gate is right in the middle of these walls, and you can pass through it to obtain the power.

Inside, you will notice that the rings are slowly moving in a spherical motion, and there is a gathering of glowing particles in one part of the room. This will also be a zero-gravity zone, allowing you to fly freely. You just need to pass through these clusters as quickly as possible.

After doing this a few times, the rings will form a portal, and you can fly towards the center and obtain your power. Once you are outside and have the new power, you can equip it through the top section of the main menu. Here, you can also read its description and see how much of your energy it consumes.
