Some recipes can be obtained through specific attributes, such as "Grandpa's Meatloaf," while others need to be found. One recipe, "Shepherd's Pie," offers significant early-game bonuses and is easy to find if you know where to look. You'll need to explore the lower levels of Jemison to prepare this delicious homemade dish.
How To Get To Kay's House
When you arrive at the starting port in Jemison, head to the Jemison Mercantile and TerraBrew. You can interact with a small elevator to access the lower levels. There, you can reach "The Well."
You will find a small restaurant called "Kay's House." This is where your search for the delicious "Shepherd's Pie" begins. You will notice that it is served at many of the tables. All you need to do is find Kay's recipe.
Where To Find The Shepherd's Pie Recipe
Go inside "Kay's House" and head to the kitchen. Go up the stairs on the right, and you will reach Kay's apartment.
Inside, on a desk next to the entrance door, you will find a copy of "The New Atlantian 05" that permanently grants you the recipe for "Shepherd's Pie."
The locked door to the left of the entrance leads to the second floor of the restaurant. The only way to access it is by stealing Kay's apartment key from her.
How To Make Shepherd's Pie
Now that you have found the recipe, you have it available at your cooking station at any time. Unlike Grandpa's Meatloaf, this recipe is accessible to everyone, and you receive a physical copy that appears in your inventory.
You don't need to keep your copy of The New Atlantian 05 to retain the recipe. Once you have learned how to prepare Shepherd's Pie, you can sell the copy later.
