Starfield: How to Reach the Wolf Star System

Have you heard the good news? In Starfield, there's a space station where you can sell all your smuggled goods without any questions asked. It's even not too far from the core area of the United Colonies on a galactic scale, at least. It's located in the Wolf system and is called "The Hideout."

If you arrive with hot merchandise that you don't want the authorities to discover, you have a safe choice: the Trade Authority. But there is a place where you can simply walk in, take 20 steps, and sell. It's called "The Hideout."

Where To Find The Wolf System And The Den

Interestingly, the Wolf system is quite close to your starting point. In fact, a smuggler's paradise is essentially in the backyard of the United Colonies. But well, that's the distance in space, isn't it? It's still billions of miles away.

The Wolf system also falls well within your initial light-year range. From the Alpha Centauri system, you just look a bit "southeast" towards one of the unnamed white stars, and you'll surely spot it. Once you're in the system map view, hover over the location marker next to the smaller of the two planets, and you should see "The Hideout" light up.

Set a course and dock when you're within 500 meters - you know the standard procedures. Once on board, take a few steps forward and then turn left as quickly as possible. There you'll find a trader from the Trade Authority. In other words, you can now reach a Trade Authority trader within about 30 seconds, thanks to the proximity of fast travel and the ship's airlock.
