The enigmatic Andreja is the last of the four main companions you will encounter in Starfield. Her mentor warns you in advance that she is somewhat of an unpredictable factor, and nothing you see during your first encounter with her will suggest otherwise.

Andreja is more than just a little mysterious and, like the other members of the constellation, she has her own significant quest that you must unlock before even considering the possibility of a romantic connection. You won't even hear about Andreja until the main quest "The Empty Nest," when her mentor, Vlad, speaks of her headstrong and stubborn nature - qualities that Vlad himself knows all too well, which is why he guides her to the best of his abilities. Even after that, you must complete this somewhat lengthy quest to unlock the next one, "Into the Unknown," where you will meet her. We have comprehensive coverage of this.

So, then! Your first task is to choose Andreja as your active companion, as you cannot build trust with her unless she is by your side. Trust is a hidden value that is influenced by the reactions of "like," "dislike," "love," and "hate" that your companions can have based on your actions. The objective is for Andreja to initiate multiple conversations with you, and that only happens at certain intervals where trust is increased.

Andreja is not like Sarah, Barrett, or Sam. She is the one who handles it best when you get your hands dirty in tense situations. She will be more accepting if you choose to resolve a confrontation with your weapon rather than with kind words - meaning, don't feel so obligated to talk your way out of things.

More than that, feel free to be cheeky. While Sarah and Sam prefer straightforward responses, and Barrett enjoys a more humorous approach, Andreja is as sarcastic as they come, and she appreciates others who aren't afraid to drip with it.

Divided Loyalties

After some conversations of relative seriousness, Andreja's further discussions with you become particularly grave. We won't spoil the moment of revelation here, but it can be said that you will embark on Andreja's companion quest, where personal matters of great significance to her come into play.

This is arguably the most intense romance (or deep friendship) among the constellation companions. You will be journeying across the entire inhabited systems, from the city of Akila to the Hyla system, from a space station to other locations.

There isn't anything inherently crucial here in terms of decision-making. However, we have observed that it seems to provide Andreja with greater emotional relief if you convince her not to kill the character at the end of the mission, regardless of her feelings in the heat of the moment.
