Starfield: Where can I find the Well district in New Atlantis?

While humanity has conquered space travel in Starfield, it has yet to find a solution to poverty. At first glance, New Atlantis may appear as the gleaming capital of the UC, but upon closer inspection behind its clean and harmonious facade, one discovers the rusty, decaying core known as "The Well."

Many citizens and explorers agree that the UC obscures its awareness of the poor living conditions of the residents in the Well district. Nonetheless, the Well district is worth visiting when you find yourself in New Atlantis, as it offers numerous quests, characters, hidden items, and services without the ostentatious undertones of the UC's commercial district.

Where To Find The Well In New Atlantis

New Atlantis is the capital of the UC and is located on the planet Jemison in the Alpha Centauri system. When you visit the city for the first time, you may feel overwhelmed by the multitude of districts it offers.

The MAST district, where the UC conducts all its operations, not to mention the commercial, residential, and spaceport districts. But then there's the Well district. A large underground district that, while not hidden, is not exactly easy to access.

• The Well can be accessed via the elevator between Terrabrew Coffee and Jemison’s Mercantile in the Spaceport District.
• The Well can be accessed via the Lodge basement by the room with the locked spacesuit.
• You can get to The Well by taking the elevator in the MAST building in the MAST District.

The Well Spaceport Entrance

You will visit New Atlantis for the first time during the story mission "One Small Step" and will have access to the Well district right after landing your Frontier ship at the New Atlantis Spaceport.

The elevator between Terrabrew Coffee and Jemison Mercantile will take you to the Well district.

The Well MAST Entrance

It is only a matter of time before you visit the MAST building, whether it is to join the UC Vanguard and attain your citizenship or as part of the main quest.

You can reach the elevator that leads to the Well district by going down the stairs in front of the MAST building and heading towards the NAT tram.

The Well Lodge Entrance

Once you have joined the Constellation, you will have access to the Lodge. The Lodge is a great base to store your loot and resources as all five crafting stations are located in the basement.

You can access the Well district by walking down the corridor that leads from the crafting room and finding a door on the left side next to the locked spacesuit. This door will lead you to the Well district.

The Well Services

The Well has an assortment of services available:

• Med Bay
• Kay’s House
• UC Surplus
• Apex Electronics
• House of the Enlightened
• The Trade Authority
• UC Security Office

Among these services, you will receive several quests, such as the mission "Kindness of Strangers: House of the Enlightened," and discover hidden items by exploring ventilation shafts, such as the modified arc welder.

Furthermore, once you have completed the mission "Delivery for Salinas," you will have access to the services of Vicente Salinas.
