The latest 2D adventure of Mario has already seen a wealth of revelations, presenting Mario's upcoming journey through the mystical and wondrous world of the Flower Kingdom. Past trailers have showcased everything from co-op gameplay and Daisy's first appearance in a mainline game of the series to Mario transforming into an elephant. Now, a new wave of revelations has given players a deeper insight into Mario's next game.

The Super Mario Bros. Wonder Direct on Wednesday brought numerous big revelations for the upcoming 2D platformer, showcasing both mechanics and new power-ups. Alongside iconic returning power-ups like the Fire Flower, Nintendo unveiled many new power-ups that will be available in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, including the Bubble and Drill abilities. The Super Mario Bros. Wonder presentation showcased the game's badge system, which allowed for enhanced movement capabilities with a variety of new techniques.
