While Starfield may have entered Early Access last week and is set to have its full release in just a few days, the excitement surrounding Baldur's Gate 3 refuses to wane. This is partly due to its upcoming full release for the PS5 on Wednesday, but also because it is an immensely popular game with plenty to offer. A significant aspect of these activities revolves around engaging in romantic relationships with other characters. If you have been frustrated thus far by the limitation of only pursuing one character at a time without causing any discontent, I have good news for you.

If you are not yet familiar with the intricacies of romance in Baldur's Gate 3 - which seems unlikely if you have played it, considering how alluring it is - the process is divided into two phases. Firstly, you engage in encounters with someone, and if things go well, a relationship develops from there. While the game permits you to simultaneously pursue two individuals, complications arise when attempting to have multiple relationships at the same time. This is where Wilhelm's modification comes into play.

Appropriately labeled as the "No Romance Limit" mod and available for download on Nexus Mods, this modification prevents characters with whom you are already in committed relationships from becoming upset and breaking up with you if you choose to go on dates and initiate a relationship with someone else. This not only means that you can progress further with the other person you are dating while alternating between two individuals, but theoretically, it also allows you to date and enter relationships with anyone in the game.

However, this could present a minor issue, not only because you would need to traverse all of Faerûn to make countless people happy. On the modification's page, it is highlighted that certain cutscenes may be missing, and the creator urges anyone who wishes to try the modification to save regularly in case any issues arise.

If you find it challenging to choose between the characters in Baldur's Gate 3, and this modification sounds like the solution to all your problems, you might want to consider waiting until the "horny bug" in the game is fixed. Upon the game's release, there was some debate as people argued whether the characters were too forward or not. It turned out that a bug at launch actually made them slightly more assertive than intended by Larian. It is advisable to refrain from using the polyamory modification until this issue is resolved to avoid overwhelming your character.
