The odds are extremely poor for the victims in "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre." The menacing situation calls for the strongest advantages, masterful hiding, and quick thinking to escape. Fortunately, not all is lost as the gas station serves as a map that leans more in favor of the victims. Even without a perfect understanding of the gas station, the victims are likely to stumble upon an escape route by chance.
The open design of the map and the various buildings provide multiple escape routes and hiding opportunities. Family members will have difficulties traversing the terrain and capturing victims once they leave the basement. Understanding the layout of the map is a must if family members want to unleash a powerful massacre.
Overview Of The Gas Station Map
The main building on this map is the gas station in the east. The other buildings are various sheds and storage areas. The building in the middle is a house with different rooms where fuses and valve handles can appear.
On the gas station map, fuse boxes typically appear inside the house, and pressure valve tanks appear on the outside of the house, but this is not always the case.
If you go west towards the Back Fields, you'll reach the rear exit, while going west through the gas station will lead you to the street exit. Victims will need two lockpicks at these locations, one for the exit itself and one to open the gate that leads to the exit.
The pressure valve exit is located southeast of the building in the middle, near the bridge. The valve handles can appear in the following locations:
- The shed near the Pressure Valve Exit
- Inside the center building
- Inside or outside the shed in the Back Fields
The fuse box exit is located in the basement of the tool shed in the middle of the map. Fuses can appear in the following locations:
- Outside the house near the log pile
- Near the crawlspace round the corner from the log pile
- Outside the workshop along the fence
