Although the sale does not extend to physical copies of Hogwarts Legacy, most platforms offering digital editions of the game are included.

The year 2023 has already witnessed the release of several well-received games, and it is far from over. However, Hogwarts Legacy stands among the top-selling titles. Despite the game's release for the Nintendo Switch slated for November, it has performed exceptionally well on its available platforms, selling over 15 million copies. It was recently announced through the official Twitter account of Hogwarts Legacy that the game has undergone significant reductions in price. According to the tweet, the digital editions of Hogwarts Legacy are currently discounted by 30% for a limited time. As a result of this price reduction, players can acquire the PC standard edition of the game for $41.99 instead of $59.99, either through Steam or the Epic Games Store. The Digital Deluxe Edition, on the other hand, has been reduced from $69.99 to $48.99. In addition to the PC version, the standard editions of Hogwarts Legacy for PS5 have also been discounted by 30%, lowering the price from $69.99 to $48.99, while the standard version for PS4 has decreased from $59.99 to $41.99.

Although the image shared by the publisher indicates that the sale applies to PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, and the Epic Game Store, the Xbox Store currently does not display any reduced price for the standard digital edition. Instead, players can purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition of Hogwarts Legacy at a discounted price in this store. Currently, this edition of the game is available for $55.99, representing a 30% discount compared to the original price of $79.99.

It is worth noting that these offers are only available for a limited time. According to the listings on Steam and the Epic Games Store, Hogwarts Legacy will remain on sale until September 7th. However, the sales promotion for the Digital Deluxe Edition in the Xbox Store will end in three days, while the PlayStation offers will expire on September 6th.

Unfortunately, Switch players cannot take advantage of these offers as they are still awaiting the release of the game for the Nintendo hybrid console. The Switch version of Hogwarts Legacy faced challenges during development and encountered a significant delay in May.
