The Honkai Star Rail leak provides a glimpse of new enemies from the next world

New leaks from Honkai: Star Rail have given a first glimpse of a group of brand-new enemies that are set to be added to the game with the upcoming playable world, Penacony. Throughout the first patches of the highly popular HoYoverse RPG, players have already been introduced to a variety of enemies. From the soldiers of the Antimatter Legion raiding the Herta Space Station to the icy beasts roaming Jarilo-IV, the game has already showcased a wealth of science-fiction creatures to battle. Now, the first teasers for the enemies of the game's next playable world are emerging.

While HoYoverse has not yet revealed any official details about the next world of Honkai: Star Rail, leaks and interviews have already begun teasing the third complete in-game world. An interview from this year would unveil Penacony as the name of the next world that players will visit during their journey with the Astral Express. Leaks and rumors have announced Penacony as a vibrant world inspired by a mix of late 19th and early 20th-century United States and France. Now, leaks provide a first glimpse into the array of enemies in Penacony.

A new image shared by HertaStation, a leaker of Honkai: Star Rail, reveals five enemies that players will encounter in Penacony. Several designs for the enemies in Penacony appear to have strong steampunk influences, including a bulky clockwork robot and a mechanical dog among the featured creatures. Penacony also seems to have several smaller floating enemies, including a robotic goblin holding a large cube and a floating mask. A bulky crystalline figure with arms and legs completes the group of five and has a uniquely non-mechanical appearance compared to its Penacony counterparts.

Although little is known about Penacony, apart from some leaks, this French-inspired world is one of several other locations set to come to Honkai: Star Rail in the future. The introduction of Silver Wolf in Version 1.1 hinted at their home world of Punklorde as a futuristic metropolis. Other worlds, such as the homeworld of Genius Society member Screwllum on the planet Screwllum and the home of the five-star character Kafka on Pteruges-V, have also been hinted at through the game's storyline. No release date has been announced for the introduction of Penacony in Honkai: Star Rail.

New teasers about the next world of Honkai: Star Rail are emerging as the RPG prepares to enter the second half of its Version 1.3 update. The second half of Version 1.3 will introduce two new characters into the game's limited gacha banner, including the five-star Preservation character Fu Xuan and the four-star character Lynx. The second half will also feature the new Space Station Task Force Event, which includes missions similar to the game's Assignment System. With new characters and new worlds on the horizon, Honkai: Star Rail fans have much to look forward to in the future of the game.

Honkai: Star Rail is now available for PC and mobile devices, with a version for the PS5 set to be released on October 11th.
