The Honkai Star Rail leak suggests new quests in version 1.4

A new leak from Honkai: Star Rail suggests that two new quests are planned to be added to the game with version 1.4, including the continuation of the main storyline. Most updates for Honkai: Star Rail have so far brought a new addition to the game's main story through Trailblaze missions. The main story of Honkai: Star Rail has taken the Astral Express to the wintry planet of Belobog and the Chinese-inspired planet ship Xianzhou Luofu. The RPG has also included several companion quests that provided a closer look at individual characters such as Cheetah, Yanqing, and Kafka. Now, the latest update of Star Rail will both continue the story and give players a better insight into a popular character.

A new leak, shared by Honkai Star Rail leaker hsr_stuff2 via co-leaker honeyhunter, has revealed two new quests that will come with version 1.4 of Star Rail. The upcoming update of the RPG is rumored to bring the latest addition to the game's Trailblaze mission with the storyline "Future Market" and allegedly lead players back to the first complete world of Belobog. Version 1.4 will also add a companion quest for one of Star Rail's newest characters, Jingliu, titled "Clouds Leave No Trace." Version 1.4 is expected to be released on October 11th.

The latest quests of Honkai: Star Rail will coincide with the release of two new characters in the next update of the RPG. Version 1.4 will introduce a pair of DPS-focused characters as their main five-star members, both Topaz and Jingliu. The update will also introduce a new four-star character, Guinaifen, who is reported to be a Nihility character with a focus on debuffs added to the game. Version 1.4 is also expected to include the first rerun banner of Honkai: Star Rail, featuring the return of Seele to the limited gacha system.

New quests and characters are allegedly not the only advantage planned for the version 1.4 update of Honkai: Star Rail. Recent leaks have indicated that players in Honkai: Star Rail may receive a free four-star character during the patch. Rumor has it that HoYoverse is also working on the first character skin for Honkai: Star Rail, with a skin allegedly in development for March 7th, although no confirmed release date has been announced. Honkai: Star Rail players can look forward to many upcoming updates in the sci-fi RPG.

Honkai: Star Rail is now available for PC and mobile devices, with a version for the PS5 set to be released in the fourth quarter of 2023.
