The Paraglider is perhaps one of Link's most essential items in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, allowing you to glide over the landscapes of the world. When you first obtain the Paraglider, it has a simple neutral design, but you can customize it at the Color Shop in Hateno Village.
Various parachute fabrics can be obtained either by scanning amiibos, taking reference photos to show Sayge, or as rewards for completing side quests. Customizing your parachute is an excellent way to pay homage to your favorite characters or games from the series, as there are many designs to choose from.
Updated on September 14, 2023 by Casey Foot: The practical paraglider is an item you don't want to be without on your adventure through Hyrule. So why not travel in style? By completing side quests, winning mini-games, and more, you can obtain various fabrics, each with unique designs. With so many paraglider fabrics to discover, we have added some of the best designs, allowing you to customize your paraglider according to your preferences.
13 Addison’s Fabric
Addison is a welcoming, friendly face throughout Hyrule, putting up signs to promote the services of Hudson Construction. If you help Addison set up every sign in all regions, he rewards you for this achievement by giving you the Addison fabric design for your paraglider.
The pattern on the fabric shows Addison alongside his beloved President Hudson. It features vibrant colors that immediately catch the eye and are sure to stand out as you glide over Hyrule. In the game description, it states that it was "hand-drawn by Addison," so what other pattern would you expect from Hudson's biggest fan?
12 Zonai Fabric
The mysterious Zonai are a captivating presence in Tears of the Kingdom, with the game providing a bit more insight into this ancient civilization. The Sky Islands contain remnants from the Zonai era, including the Steward Constructs, one of which is located at the Temple of Time.
By successfully completing the quest "The Legend of the Great Sky Island," which offers this construct, Link is rewarded with the Zonai fabric. This paraglider fabric is white and adorned with golden Zonai iconography. It features a simple yet elegant design with a shimmering finish.
11 Yiga Fabric
Although Master Kohga can be a thorn in Link's side, one cannot blame him for using the beautiful red and golden Yiga fabric. If you complete a mini-game in the Yiga Clan Hideout, you can get your hands on this paraglider fabric that showcases the splendor of the Yiga Clan.
The mask of Master Kohga forms the centerpiece of the design, framed by his collar. The red and gold color scheme is incredibly impactful. Although Master Kohga is anything but elegant and graceful, this fabric exudes those qualities.
10 Lon Lon Ranch Fabric
To obtain the Lon-Lon Ranch fabric, you need to scan the Link amiibo from Ocarina of Time until it appears. The fabric is a vibrant blue with the Lon-Lon Ranch logo, featuring an adorable cow.
Although Lon-Lon Ranch in Tears of the Kingdom has been left to decay, its impact can still be seen throughout Hyrule as the item "Fresh Milk" carries its logo. Lon-Lon Ranch from Ocarina of Time is a beloved location among fans, so it is a joy to see it represented as paraglider fabric.
9 Majora’s Mask Fabric
This paraglider fabric pays tribute to the eponymous Majora's Mask, with the mask taking center stage in the design. However, if you want to use this fabric on your paraglider, you'll need to scan the Majora's Mask Link amiibo.
The bright yellow eyes of the mask are striking and seem to be directly focused on you as you glide through Hyrule. You could combine this paraglider with the Fierce Deity Armor Set or even the Majora's Mask itself to achieve the complete look. If you want to express the eerie essence of Majora's Mask in Tears of the Kingdom, this is the right paraglider fabric for it.
8 Hudson Construction Fabric
Hudson was an unforgettable NPC in Breath of the Wild, and in Tears of the Kingdom, his business, Hudson Construction, thrives. After completing the side quest "Home on the Arrange" and building your dream house just outside of Tarrey Town, you will receive the Hudson Construction fabric.
The paraglider fabric features the man himself as well as Hylian script that says, "Build your own house." Every time you use this paraglider fabric, you spread the good news about Hudson Construction and show the residents of Hyrule where they can go to build their dream homes.
7 Korok Fabric
Just like in Breath of the Wild, Hyrule in Tears of the Kingdom is also populated by Koroks, and besides solving their puzzles, you also have to help some of them reach their friends. By completing the side quest "The Secret Room" in Korok Forest and giving Oaki the requested flowers, you will receive the Korok fabric as a reward.
The Korok fabric is cream-colored and adorned with the leaf masks of the Koroks at the top edge. The color of the tassels hanging from the paraglider also matches the colors of the masks, contributing to a cohesive design.
6 Egg Fabric
The Egg fabric refers to Link's Awakening, and therefore, you can only obtain it by scanning the Link's Awakening amiibo. The fabric itself has a design that showcases the Wind Fish's Egg surrounded by clouds, similar to the game's title screen.
The image used for the design is instantly recognizable, but it is also aesthetically pleasing. The pink-blue color scheme used in this paraglider fabric is harmonious and is also used for the tassels at the bottom edge. Combine it with the Awakening Armor Set, and you will feel as if you've been transported directly to Koholint.
5 Tunic Of Memories
As the name suggests, the fabric of the Tunic of Memories is a nostalgic design based on Link's Champion Tunic from Breath of the Wild. You can obtain this fabric by scanning the Archer Link amiibo.
The default blue clothing of Link in Breath of the Wild was a change for the series, with the color chosen to make Link stand out from the green landscape. The paraglider fabric is a direct replica of the tunic, featuring the Master Sword emblem in the center and the sleeve pattern at the bottom edge.
4 Goddess Fabric
In Skyward Sword, after winning the Wing Ceremony, Link is rewarded with the Sailcloth, handcrafted by Zelda, and its design is replicated on the Goddess fabric. Tears of the Kingdom incorporates elements from Skyward Sword with its floating sky islands, so using this fabric will remind you of how you would plunge from the sky on Link's Loftwing and leap onto the surface below.
Similar to its counterpart in Skyward Sword, the Goddess fabric is white and adorned with the Hylian Crest in blue. It is a simple design, but a beautiful homage to the game.
3 Demon King Fabric
In Tears of the Kingdom, Ganondorf returns, making his first appearance in a mainline Zelda game since Twilight Princess in 2006. To honor Ganondorf's comeback, you can use the Demon King fabric, which can be obtained from the Ganondorf amiibo.
It is a subtle design that showcases elements of Ganondorf's symbols, such as the Gerudo Crest at the top of the fabric. It may seem somewhat peculiar that the hero of Hyrule would bear the emblem of the Demon King, but with such a well-crafted design, how could one resist?
2 Gleeok Fabric
Gleeoks first appeared as minibosses in the original game, The Legend of Zelda, and returned in Tears of the Kingdom after not being seen since Phantom Hourglass. In Tears of the Kingdom, Gleeoks are dangerous enemies with various elemental variations. To obtain the paraglider fabric, you must get close enough to a Gleeok to take a photo and then use it as a reference.
The Gleeok fabric does an excellent job of portraying the fearsome nature of the dragon, as its three heads appear as silhouettes against the sun with a red glow. The pattern along the bottom edge is a nice finishing accent.
1 Mirror Of Twilight Fabric
In Twilight Princess, the Mirror of Twilight is the bridge between Hyrule and the Twilight Realm, where Ganondorf is sent after his failed execution attempt through the mirror. In Tears of the Kingdom, the material of the Mirror of Twilight can be obtained by scanning the Wolf Link Amiibo, although it is a rather rare find.
The parachute fabric has the geometric pattern of the mirror with an additional pink, yellow, and blue hue that appears almost holographic. When gliding at night or in the depths, the fabric glows similar to the mirror itself.
