In the game The Sims 4, there are many dynamic elements to enjoy, and if you have the "Seasons" expansion pack installed, weather is one of those elements. With unique climates for each game world, a dynamic weather system that changes throughout the day, and various temperature influences on your Sims themselves, you may soon want to control the weather.
Fortunately, thanks to a weather machine, cheats, and settings, you don't have to be at the mercy of random weather conditions! In this guide, we will show you how to change the season in The Sims 4: Seasons.
How To Change The Season With The Weather Machine
In a game that revolves around playing with life, you can also play with the weather using Dr. June's weather control device.
Available for 1,500 Simoleons in the build/buy catalog, the weather machine allows Sims to change the current weather of the game world and influence it according to their desires.
If you are brave enough to try it out, Dr. June's weather control device offers a wide range of options. It has eight settings for your Sim to choose from.

Sims with higher skill levels can even change the season at will, but be careful, as lower skill levels often result in electric shocks.
How To Change The Weather Via Cheats
For those who are less patient (or less willing to take the risk of electric shocks by tampering with nature), there are also several cheat codes available that allow you to freely set the weather.
Regardless of the game world you are in or the current weather there, open the cheat command center, enable cheats, and enter one of the following codes to change the current weather or the entire season.

There are also a number of cheats that change the current weather conditions, but these alter the entire season and not just the current weather status.
How To Turn Off Seasons
Perhaps you've finally had enough of dealing with the unpredictable temperatures of the game. Maybe you've moved to Oasis Springs and can't stand the heat of the desert. Perhaps you've ended up in Mt. Komorebi and want to create an outdoor garden without snow.
If you want to completely disable the weather, you can do so through the game settings. To do this, go to the environment section in the game's settings menu, where you'll find a range of options related to seasons.
Here, you can disable the weather and instead maintain a constant sunshine setting like in the base game. Alternatively, you can change the intensity of the weather and set how frequently the seasons change.
You can even choose to simply disable the weather effects on Sims if it's only the effects of the weather that are bothering your Sim and not the weather itself.
