Niantic has fully unveiled the curtain for the next season of their successful mobile game Pokémon GO. The upcoming season, named "Adventure Overflowing," will be a significant occasion as Pokémon that made their debut in the Paldea region from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will make their way into Pokémon GO. This includes the three starter Pokémon, Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Sprigatito.
Pokemon GO Adventures Abound Start Time
The 12th season of Pokémon GO, "Adventure Overflowing," is expected to commence on September 1, 2023, at 10:00 AM local time and run for three months until December 1, 2023, at 10:00 AM local time.
What's New in Adventures Abound?
As mentioned earlier, the "Adventure Abound" season will finally introduce Paldean Pokémon to Pokémon GO for the first time. However, not all Pokémon from the region will appear at once, at least not initially. Niantic is known for gradually introducing monsters from a new region and gradually offering trainers creatures to catch and evolve.

Each Paldean starter Pokémon requires 25 candies to evolve into its second form and then 100 candies to evolve into its third and final form. Lechonk requires 50 candies to evolve into Oinkologne. It is also worth mentioning that starting from September 10th, the starter Pokémon can hatch from 5 km eggs, and Lechonk can hatch from 2 km eggs.
Unown A, D, E, L, and P will appear more frequently worldwide, and there will be a new special research story for "Adventure Abound" where trainers can choose one of the three starter Pokémon. The research will be free for all players and can be claimed throughout the entire upcoming season, which ends on December 1st.
Of course, players can expect a variety of entertaining events over the next three months, such as Community Days, Spotlight Hours, research stories, raids, and much more.
And to celebrate the launch of the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet expansion in September, Pokémon GO players can obtain the Paldea clothing set, which includes a backpack and sandals, as part of the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Turquoise Mask.
